Please note  -  Classes tend to fill up quickly.  If you see something you like, sign up as soon as possible.
Unless otherwise noted, there is a maximum of six (6) students per class and a minimum of three (3)
students.  Classes are on a first-come-first-served basis and require pre-registration to reserve your space.
For safety reasons please wear closed toe shoes only - no sandals or flip-flops.  Please note:  No refunds will
be issued for classes.  Store credit only or we can apply to a future class.

NOTE: If you see a class you want but the date and time do not work for you and your friends, call us.  We
need a minimum of 3 students per class. We frequently hire teachers and we need to check with them before
we can commit to changing dates and times.   Tuition is refundable for store credit only.

Minimum of 3 students per class.  Should there not be enough we will reschedule the class and notify you.
CAUTION:  Use driving directions on website, not those on your GPS.
Fundamentals of Fusing Class must be completed before any other fusing classes may be taken with the
exception of "make and take" classes.  

We will train you how to use your kiln for $5.00 when you purchase
your kiln from us.

Fundamentals of Fusing - $100
Learn the basics of glass fusing and make two 4” square fused glass tiles.  This hands on class will introduce students to basic fusing
techniques, glass cutting, kiln operation and material  selection.  Find out what “frit”, “noodles”, and “stringers”, are all about and use them to
create little works of art that you can use later as tiles, coasters or wall art.  Turn your tiles into a clock, a vase or a dish for an additional $7.  
This class provides the basic skills to allow you to go on to create jewelry, bowls, trays, clocks and other fused glass artwork.   Bring a friend and
experience the beauty and fun of fused glass.  Course fee includes all tools and materials.  Bring a design that will fit on to a 4” tile.  Projects may
be picked up a week after class.  One 3.5 hour session.  

This class is a prerequisite for most of our other fusing classes.

Coral Sea Bowl - $55
The possibilities are endless in this class!  Showcase this stunning piece on your mantel, coffee table or bookcase.  This is a fun class using the
Morton Portable Glass Shop to create a delicate one of a kind bowl.  We will teach the technique or making this intricate shape then fuse it and
drape it for you.  Students need to purchase 1 sq foot of fusible glass.  One 2 hour session.

Pendant Scrap Lamp Class - $40
This class will use up your scrap!   No skills needed just some fun time.  We will go into differences in scrap pendant lamps as well as our
Pendant Lamp Class.   With that class you will need adequate cutting class to participate.  But not in this fun one.
Ideal for Ladies Night or just a fun night with your friends.

Scrap Box Plate  - $55
Some cutting skills are required in this class but if you take our cutting class you will be all set for this class.  You will make a 10” fused plate.  
You can put a border on it and watch your friends eyes sparkle when they see what you made.  Come have some fun with us in this class.
Plate requires two firings.  Students to purchase border glass.

Pendant Class - $10
Have some spare time...  come into the studio any Saturday during business hours and make a pendant.  We will supply a clear top and either
black or white base.  You will add embellishments and we will fire your pendant.  Come back in a week to pick up you pendant and you can add a
silver or gold bail.  If you would like to make more than one, each additional pendant is $5.




MASTER LEVEL CLASSES

( Please note, you will need to have taken Fundamentals of Fusing and at least one other fusing classbefore you can take
one of our Master level Classes.  We assume students in these classes are able to work independently. )


Advanced Plates and Bowls - $195
Want to make a real piece of art glass that involves more than arranging a few pieces of glass and frit on a circle and firing it?  If so, this is the
class for you.  Thick glass techniques, cold working and design considerations will be discusses.  Students will provide 2 sheets of colored glass
and 1 sheet of clear glass and bring ideas for a simple geometric design.  Course fee includes two firings,
use of a mold or dam materials and scrap glass.  Two Sessions:  One 4 hour and one 1 hour session.

Dealing with Dichro - $150
Dichroic glass puts the “bling” in your thing!  It is a brilliant design element and a must for fused jewelry, but it has some unique characteristics.  
Students will learn the techniques to make the best use of dichroic glass in their projects.  Types of dichroic glass, color and color changes with
firing will be discussed.  Uses for Dichro Slide and Dichro etching will be demonstrated.  Students will make several dicrhoic jewelry pieces.  
Course fee includes firing and a dichro sample pack for each student.  One 3 hour session.

The Vitrograph -$75
Leave your notebook at home....this is a fun class!!!   Hot glass drips out of the bottom of a speciality modified kiln while students manipulate the
flowing glass into custom stringers and other shapes.  Students take home what they create for inclusion into future projects.  Course fee
includes all tools and materials.  Class is limited to three people.  We need 24 hours advance notice, so call us and we will have some fun.  
Students divide up the glass they create.  After you have taken this class, you can come in anytime
with 24 hours advanced notice and make your own for $30!

Creative Slumping - $125
What is a slumping ring for”  What if I can't find a mold for the shape I want?  Ceramic or stainless steel?  Why won't the kiln wash stick to my
stainless steel mold?  These and many other questions you didn't even know to ask will be answered in this “all about slumping class.”  Students
will learn basic mold making and glass forming techniques.  Class fee includes a firing in any of our molds (students must create tile to be
slumped at home or during studio time).  Templates for tiles will be created in class.  One 3 hour session.
Fused Glass Quilt - $250
Are you a quilter?  This class is a must for you.  Even if you don't quilt, the techniques and the final result are awesome and one of a kind!  We
will show you how to make a quilt with GLASS!  Only those at the masters level should take this class.  You will be given a $30 credit towards
glass.  Additional glass if needed, should be purchased by the student.  Fiber paper and one firing is included in this class.
One 4 hour session and 1 two hour session.

Verre Eglomise - $450
Students will learn the Verre Eglomise technique.  This technique can be used with any type of glass.   It involves the process of working “intaglio
( in reverse).  Each student will create a complete project in this 2 day class.  All materials included.  Day 1:  Using the “Bas Relief” technique you
will create patterns and designs on the reverse side of your piece.  A variety of different materials and techniques will be demonstrated.
The piece will then be fired to form the designs into the piece.   Day 2:  You will mask your piece using adhesive resist leaving the relief areas,
created by the fusing, exposed.  You will sandblast the relief areas and apply glass enamels to your design to create a brilliant image.
Next you will inlay your piece with fine metals using gold or silver leaf.  We will then coat the backside to seal the
enamels and the inlay and provide your background.  One 6 hour session and one 4 hour session.
