I came here to purchase some upgrade items for our vehicle. I had to make a couple of visits due to the type of vehicle and making sure I had the right items. Firstly, great service. The times I came in, every person was friendly, helpful, and honest with what my vehicle needed. I went in not wanting to spend a lot of money and they kept me close to where I wanted to be. We have another vehicle to make some upgrades to and I will definitely be coming back to this Car Toy location.

It pays to always ask first. My wife bought a Jeep Wrangler and wanted to install new radio with Apple Car Play and a backup camera. Car Toys had a unit advertised on their website (for under $300) so I sent my son to inquire about it. They told him because of the tire mount on the back of the jeep, the camera has to be mounted differently. While that makes sense, they told him it would be about $1200 total price (for a $300 unit!)

I went in to have a alarm put in that had alarm, remote start, and Drone Mobile (a phone app that acts as a remote and gps over a cellular network) installed. I prepaid and scheduled a appointment for installation for a few days later. When the installation was done the installer showed me the basic lock, unlock, and remote start buttons on the remote. That was it. He showed me a tag with the units serial number on it and said to download the app and set it up myself. I did when I got home and it worked for about five minutes and started having errors and then started sending me a message when trying to log in that I need to see the dealer that installed it. Later that day I used the remote start from the key fob and noticed that my starter was still engaging after the truck was started. I work on cars and know that this is very bad for the starter as well as for the engine. I went on their site and it had a chat window which I let whoever was on the other end know. He said that that was strange and would get with the installer in the morning when he came in. I heard nothing back the next day. The next morning I reached back out and said that I needed to make an appointment to either have it fixed or removed and refunded. He then responded that he could get me in on Friday either 11 or 1. I chose 11. When I showed up they didn't even have me on the schedule. They ended up getting me in and after half an hour or so the installer came in and told me that he had reset my remote starter and that it still ran some after the engine had started and that was the best it was going to get and as for my problem with the app, he told me that I would have to take that up with Drone Mobiles customer service. I ended up having them remove it due to it not working as it should or the app, which was the whole reason I purchased it, did not work at all. The system was $629.99 and it said "install included". When I asked for my refund they said that the labor was non refundable and it was $350. Really? So I'm supposed to have pay $350 for an install on something that was partly not working properly and partly not working at all??? I will be contacting their corporate offices over this. I urge anyone to steer clear of this place and not let them touch your car or truck.

After taking speaking with the manager about the first detail that I got and not being happy with the results.
He asked when I could come by and drop off the truck to make it right.
I dropped it off today and got it back afterward.

I was apprehensive to update my electronic system to add CarPlay to my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, however, I was assisted immediately, and my new system was installed within three hours. I was offered great service a very courteous and professional team.
I only afforded four stars because I am not 100% satisfied with the system at no fault to the team at CarToys.

The customer service is super friendly but nothing leaves you feeling feeling like you wasted your time in these situations as much as a salesperson who does not know their product very well.
I recently purchased a "new to me" car and wanted to add a rearview camera with the monitor in the rearview mirror. They had a system just like that on sale so I went to inquire about it. The salesperson I got kept insisting the monitor did not come with a camera and I had to purchase that separately for another 100 dollars. That was false, as the system came with a license plate mounted camera.
My second place problem was that I have a Ford F-150 with a rearview mirror that is apparently difficult to remove and this place does not have the tool needed to remove it, so they sent me to a place they said did it that looked at me like I was crazy for asking them to do it. Thee guy I spoke with also informed me that the Car Toys also has a mirror that attaches to the existing mirror and that getting one of those would eliminate the probability of my windshield breaking from removing-the mount. He was surprised they did not talk to me about that.
Next stop was Best Buy and guess what, the product was 20.00 less expensive and install was 50 dollars cheaper as well, and they did not try to sell me an additional camera, so that was 100 less as well, making for a total savings of 170.00. Talk about your "UP" charges! Looking for a different radio system so our teen's phone can connect for maps. The unit is $279 but EVERYTHING else catapults it to over $900. Absolutely RIDICULOUS for a 2015 no frills vehicle!

My car was broken into and the side window was
completely smashed and my amplifier was unscrew and messed around. After making a call to Car Toys they helped me instantly after I called them. Ordered a stereo for my daughters car. The staff is very knowledgeable and really gave us great advice which helped in our final decision. Installation was quick! My daughter is super happy!
