Dr. Daniel and his assistant, Kim, spent concentrated, unhurried time examining my eyes and answering whatever questions I had. Their respective knowledge and suggestions are invaluable. What a joy to meet such caring physicians.

Following my exam, Licet provided friendly, patient, and helpful assistance in choosing eyewear. Respectful of my budget, she didn't try to push higher priced products on me, which was genuinely appreciated.

If you need comprehensive and honest eye care, look no further. These folks are the best.

Sadly, I need to update this. On my last appointment, I was called the DAY BEFORE and informed that Dr. Jawad wouldn't be in and I'd have to see a different doctor. I was nervous because my prescription is extremely complex and he understands it and gets me the right prescription. However, because I was about to run out of contacts, I kept the appointment.

I didn't like the replacement. I don't remember her name but she's female. During the exam, she kept telling me "No one gets a prescription better than I do." WELL, I told her repeatedly that I just wanted the SAME prescription. I know my eyes and it was working fine. But she adjusted both eyes slightly. Since it seemed to be okay I left with that prescription.

Lo and behold, it's NOT as good as the one I had previously. However, by the time I fully accepted I could not see as well as with my old prescription, I was out of town and very busy and didn't have the time/energy to call the office and get into what I absolutely knew would be a huge argument trying to get them to change the prescription from what the doctor wanted and back to my old one and then sending back all the contacts etc.

I won't go again unless I can def get Dr. Jawad. The replacement didn't listen to me and though she "knew better" and now my vision is even blurrier than usual. Sigh.

First of all I want to say how great and friendly George is he helped my mother with her glasses. He is very patient and knowledgeable of the product he is selling and also he is also very informative. I recommend coming here you won't be disappointed.

George is fantastic! He answers all my questions, ensures we get everything right, and conducts himself with warmth and friendliness. This Cohen's reminds me of the great days of New York. You'd have your very favorite places to shop in New York: first, because the people who worked there love people -- they're not in a rush, they know you, they want you there. Second, New York City is all about finding highly-skilled craftspeople and sales-people who are about high quality and craftsmanship. This place is all that. They love people and they deliver the best quality. Why I have been getting all my frames and eye exams exclusively in this Cohen's for more than a decade: great frames and quick delivery, plus no matter what, they gladly make changes, as needed until everything is just right. Honestly, the entire staff of this Cohen's are generous professionals I love to work with.

Licet was very help to me when choosing some new frames. Friendly, knowledgable and made me feel comfortable with my experience.

I was in desperate need of contact lens due to me losing my last pair, & Licet graciously searched her inventory for my extremely high prescription. She ended up finding me a pair, which I needed in the worst way.

If every employee worked as hard as Licet does, this WORLD would be a better place. Kudos to this amazing woman.
