Piacere Restaurant "Gives Back" to Local Schools

September is "Give" Back-to-School Month, and Piacere Restaurant will donate $2 from the sale of specially created cocktails and appetizers to the San Carlos Education Foundation.

It’s back to school time and for one San Carlos business, this means “GIVING” back! For the month of September, Piacere Restaurant in downtown San Carlos will be donating $2.00 from the sale of three specially created back-to-school themed cocktails and an appetizer to the San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF).

“Piacere has a long history of supporting SCEF and education in our community, says Piacere executive chef Miriam Russell-Wadleigh. “As part of this ongoing commitment, we wanted to kick off  the school year and fundraising season with a fun way to support our local schools, and what better way than through food and drink”.

Through September 30th, you can enjoy perfectly prepared wood-fired jumbo prawns and give back. Or try the “Teacher’s Pet” with Grey Goose Pear Vodka, the “Principals Office” with Jack Daniels Honey Whiskey, or spend some time on the “Playground” with Cava Sparkling wine. Each of these cocktails means $2.00 to SCEF. And it  adds up!

Piacere’s SCEF “Give” Back to School appetizer and cocktails are available on the lunch, brunch, dinner, and bar menus.  Piacere serves lunch from 11:30 AM-3 PM Monday-Friday. Dinner is served from 5 PM-10 PM daily. Brunch Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 AM-4 PM and Happy hour is Sunday-Wednesday, 3 PM-6PM. Live music Thursday-Saturday at 7 PM. Piacere is a local favorite for private parties, holiday gatherings, wine tastings, and corporate meetings. For more information, go to www.piacererestaurant.com,  or cal 650-592-3536.
