The Potomac Hunt Races is an annual steeplechase race hosted in Poolesville, MD, just outside Washington, DC. Multiple races run throughout the day and horses jump timber and brush
fences. This family friendly event incorporates other activities including mounted police demonstrations, a Kid Zone, and Vendor Village for shopping and dining.
For optimum tailgating, purchase railside passes, which enable you to be closest to the action, right on the track’s fence line. Pack a tent and a cooler and invite your friends to spend a day in the country, appreciating beautiful horses in a laid- back environment.
A portion of our proceeds benefit our charity partner, TAPS. We encourage you to visit their website to see how you might be able to help their mission.
Once you’re here, sit back, relax, and enjoy the adrenalin rush of the racing horses!
