On last night’s WGN News, I went to check out the new Red Square Cafe Lounge.

This isn’t your ordinary cafe.

It’s actually a bathhouse, located in the same space at the historic Russian Turkish Bathhouse in Wicker Park. After 100 years in business, the bathhouse closed in 2010. After a year of renovating the space, the new owners are up and running with a concept they’re calling Red Square Cafe Lounge. Downstairs, both men and women have their own separate spas. Upstairs, you’ll find a full bar and restaurant. And just like the old days, you can get in a steam, and eat a full meal in nothing but your robe.
