Shihan Gangi has helped to improve the Chicago Martial Arts scene for many years.  Before he founded Gangi Martial arts in 1985, he had been training and competing for over fifteen years and had attained black belts in various styles.  He has also put his knowledge to the test in competition as well as in the security and bodyguard industries.  Throughout his years of teaching he has produced many champions in point fighting, forms and kickboxing. His immense quality as an instructor can be further reinforced by the numerous amount of students that have spent ten, twenty and even thirty years training with him.   Shihan Gangi believes that, “Anyone can achieve Black Belt but most give up too soon.  It takes a strong will to persevere and a desire to improve yourself”.
