About

Stone Temple Pilots on Tour

With over 70 million albums sold, Stone Temple Pilots roared on to the scene in 1992 with their raucous debut, Core. A breakout success, the album peaked #3 on the Billboard 200 chart, and dominated radio waves with hits like "Sex Type Thing," "Wicked Garden," and the Grammy-Award winning smash single, "Plush." STP quickly distinguished themselves as a band beholden to no trend. Boasting the inimitable riffs of guitarist Dean DeLeo, the propulsive rhythm section of bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz, and the charismatic baritone of frontman Scott Weiland, STP ruled airways, video playlists and charts alike over their legendary career. The band released their seventh studio album, Stone Temple Pilots (2018), their first with new lead singer, Jeff Gutt. The debut single "Meadow" from the self-titled album, channels the gritty guitars and swaggering rhythms that STP is known for, and reached top 5 at rock radio. All Music Guide states, "They haven't lost their knack for hook-heavy hard rock that wedges its way into the subconscious."

    Amazing

    by Killerbooger on 7/18/22

I saw them in Spokane last night. I haven’t seen them since 1994 (ish) and then again about 10 years later.. They sounded and looked amazing. They played everything that everyone loves, started strong and ended strong. They didn’t spend time on songs no one knew. While there is no way to replace Scott, Jeff was a great choice as a replacement. He has just enough Scott in him so you don’t forget the bands roots. Great powerfull voice and is present. What I mean by that is his isn’t so messed up where he forgets words, where he is, and I think really enjoys what he is doing up there. Not hat Scott didn’t, but he was just so out of it. Addiction is a terrible thing. Anyway, if you get a chance to see them, no matter if you are a long time fan like me or not, do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Great Show - Loud and Lovely!

by Jonsie on 7/8/22BMO Harris Pavilion - Milwaukee

Love! They opened with Wicked Garden and it set the tone of the whole show--strong, melodic, and loud! Then moved into the banger Vasoline. Jeff Gutt shines by remaining true to his instrument and channelling the heart of STP. He shines with their newer song Meadow, in fact, it showcased all their skills. I did not realize the DeLeo brother's talent is so underestimated--from punk undercurrents, metal shreds, and bluesy segues. They are all charismatic and interact with the audience. You can not sit still during their shows. We all stood up and moved. Excited to see more STP shows for both their older body of work and to hear what they will continue to create.

    AMAZING SHOW!!!

by Jake on 7/5/22BMO Harris Pavilion - Milwaukee

Huge energy, excellent performance by a truly legendary band. I’ve wanted to see STP for years, and they sound fantastic. We all miss Scott Weiland, but the Jeff Gutt did all of the songs justice in his memory. Awesome night!

They started out strong with hit songs, and ended with hit songs! This concert was the first my husband and had gone to in like 20 years; and we had a blast!
