The most outrageously camp wedding ever? Burlesque dancer and drag king get married in an extravaganza of glitter, balloons and show business style
When a burlesque dancer and drag king got married their wedding invitations promised guests an 'extravaganza of eleganza' - and they certainly lived up to expectations.
After Washington passed Referendum 74 last year, allowing same-sex marriages, Seattle couple Susanna Raphael Wellbourne and Ricki Mason couldn't wait to make their love official.
Better known by their stage names Kitten and Lou, the young couple set about creating a wedding that reflected their style, humor and love for one another.

Bubble machines, a confetti cannon, bride attendants in gold lame dresses or canary yellow frocks, who shimmied up the aisle carrying balloons and scattering petals, were just some of the glamorous touches to the wedding.
Kitten wore a cream dress with an extravagant tulle train and teal leopard print detailing that matched the cream suit Lou wore, according to Bridal Musings.
They were accompanied down the aisle on July 28 by their parents and married by performer Waxie Moon, who had added glitter to his beard for the occasion.
As he pronounced them wife and wife - and the couple kissed - a confetti canon showered them with white ticker tape.
Kitten and Lou held their ceremony at the Stables in Georgetown, and included features such as a silver drinks fountain and mini multi-colored cupcakes, as well as retro flourishes such as ceramic kittens, according to The Stranger.

After the ceremony the guests were able to play on a giant bouncy castle in the shape of a horse, play with piñatas stuffed with costume jewellery, condoms and mini vodka bottles, and enjoy a grand first dance by the show-stopping couple.
The extravagant occasion was captured by photographer Nate Gowdy Photography and June Films.
As a final flourish to the evening, the couple left their wedding to an avenue of guests waving sparklers to light the way.
