Jackalope Theatre Company
Named for the adorably fearsome creature of lore, Jackalope has grown from a hypothetical troupe invented for a Columbia College theater management class into one of the most inventive producers on the storefront scene. Recent productions of plays by the likes of Lucas Neff, Zayd Dohrn and resident playwright Andrew Burden Swanson have brought Jackalope increasing attention. This season, its sixth, includes new works by two of the city's fastest rising playwrights, Calamity West and Ike Holter.
