DRAPER — One Halloween haunt in Utah is doing things a bit differently with their maze of spooky semitrailers.

Strangling Brothers Haunted Circus sets up their 23 trailers, each with a different scary scenario, in a formerly vacant lot in Draper.

Bob Tillotson has been in the haunted house business in Utah for about 20 years, and recently he decided to give the idea a new twist. So, he bought the semitrailers and arranged them in a maze-like pattern on a vacant lot in Draper.

"You don't see a lot of gore here, but it's scary," Tillotson said. "We've got over 65 different scare scenes out there. It's a big haunt."

Visitors walk through a couple trailers at a time, head outside into areas that have other scary effects, then back inside for who-knows-what. There are body parts, both human and animal, and you're never really sure whether that thing coming after you is real or fake. The maze takes nearly an hour to complete.

"We've got computerized animatronics, and live actors, but I think the key to this production is there are some scenes that you won't see anywhere else," Tillotson said.

Since the theme is a travelling circus, visitors wait in line under a circus tent, with all sorts of entertainment.

Starting next week, the haunted circus will run every night, except Sundays, through Halloween. It is not recommended for small children.
