Well, the votes have been counted, now let's see if anyone agrees.

St. Stephen’s Green Publick House in Spring Lake Heights has been crowned Best Irish Bar in New Jersey in a competition run by Irishbeerfinder.com and Strangford Lough Brewing Company (SLBC).

About 11,000 overall votes were cast for Irish bars across North America. Croagh Patrick’s Pub in Willoughby, Ohio, which received 3,000-plus reviews, was crowned Best Irish Bar in the U.S.

In second place was O’Neal’s Irish Bar in Philadelphia, with 2,966 reviews; in third place was Bub’s Irish Pub in Germantown, Wis., with 1,231 reviews.

I'm always wary of "best-of'' lists that rely on patrons voting - it just means your customers were more into it than others.

What do you think is the best Irish bar in Jersey? Some of my favorites: Claddagh in Highlands; The Quiet Man in Dover; The Irish Pub, Atlantic City.
