Lately, we've been seeing a ton of delivery-based services for things we really, really need—you know, like makeup, condoms, tampons, and sex toys. So, basically, we never need to leave the house again.
In fact, it seems like getting vibrators and lube sent to your front door is the hottest sex trend out there right now, with companies like Bedroom Chemist and Spicy Subscriptions making sure you're keeping things hot on the reg. And we thank them for that.
But, we were more than just little excited to hear about a new sexy service that does things a little differently: Introducing, The Fantasy Box.
To get started, the company has you and your man fill out a questionnaire to help tailor the types of boxes you get, which will alternate between "his" and "hers" fantasies. What sets these boxes apart from the other sex-toys-to-your-door services is that, instead of giving you a selection of toys and such, Birchbox style, each kit provides a self-contained fantasy—and it spans beyond just the actual acting-it-out part.
For example, the school girl costume fantasy box comes the standard plaid skirt outfit, a paddle, and a lollipop, among other goodies, but it also includes complete how-to instructions, like how to walk into the room in your costume, when to present the paddle, how to suck on the lollipop, and what text messages to send your guy leading up to the actual fantasy enactment. (Don't worry, he gets instructions too—like making sure he tells you how hot you're making him when he gets your sexts.)
The cool thing about this service is that those of us who aren't so adept in the role-playing department (*raises hand*) are less likely to feel awkward because we're just doing what the instructions in the box say to do. For $60-$160/month, we can hone our playing-dress-up prowess by trying it on for size—without worrying we look ridiculous.
All I know is, I'm kinda stoked to check out the introductory kitchen-fantasy-themed box, which comes with a cupcake vibrator, licorice bondage rope and a sexy backless apron. Me-ow.
