2010-2011: GPAC all-conference honorable mention selection...averaged 8.6 points and 3 rebounds per game...shot 46% from the field and 38% behind the arc...totaled 48 assists and 34 steals...ranked first on team in free throw percentage of those with 40 + attempts at 80%...led the team in scoring five times...scored a career high 25 points against Mount Marty (11/5).

South Dakota State University: Limited by an injury...credited with 11 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals.

High School: 19.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game as a senior and scored over 1,500 career points...helped her team to a state championship and was a first team all-state selection. Also received all-state honors in softball, when the Trojans won a state title.

Personal: Declared Elementary Education major...parents are Lonny and Nancy Johnson...has one sister, Afton, and one brother, Kyle...career goal to teach and coach as well as organize and run her own faith based basketball camps. Interesting fact about Vanessa, she participated in the Nationals of the Punt, Pass and Kick competition at the age of 10.
