Aunt Ilcsi has developed a special and unique approach within the cosmetics profession through several decades of work. This approach includes a unique concept to skin diagnosis, utilization of active ingredients from plants as a solution to skin problems, and even providing advice on diet and lifestyles.

Immediately after harvest all fruit and herbal ingredients are formulated and processed in a unique way under specially controlled conditions that maintains the vitality of the natural active ingredients while eliminating bacteria. Because of this secret process you can immediately experience the rich, deep penetrating effects of our products, as well as their magnificent aromas and colours.

Due to the uniquely rich Hungarian soil and a climate perfectly suited for agriculture, our herbs, vegetables and fruits are very rich in active ingredients and aromatic agents. All our 70 different herbs are organically grown, hand harvested, hand selected and lovingly hand-made in very small batches.

Some of Aunt Ilcsi's skincare products are blended with Hungary's unique thermal water from Lake Hajduszoboszlo. This subterranean thermal lake was found in 1925 by scientists and they found the salt and fresh waters in this ancient sea contained plant and animal life that had been trapped for thousands of years by an earthquake.

The water in this lake is crammed with rare minerals and it’s a perfect 9.5pH, which has proved to be excellent for dry skin.

Ilona Molnar and the Ilcsi Family - Aunt Ilcsi uses the mud and algae from this unique and rich water source in some of the products. Since these creams are so natural during very hot weather it’s best to keep them in the fridge. None of our ilike-ilcsi products are tested on animals.

Aunt Ilcsi’s philosophy is that a solution can be found in nature for any skin problems. Hence the professional organic cosmetics are always made from fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables and thermal water, thus these do not act through extracts but live active ingredients. We respect all kind of living beings, therefore no animal experiments are carried out during the development of our products, and we do not use any substances of animal origin.

In recent years, ilike-ilcsi products wwere officially chosen to be a member of the international 'Superbrands' club and the company also obtained the ISO 9001:2001 certification.
