Nick's Glass Tinting

Adam at Nick's Glass Tinting was very responsive to our requests and worked us in on short notice. He was very patient and his work is top notch. If you are looking for a quality tint at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place.

Here's my experience with this scam joint.

1) Bought a groupon. Scheduled an appointment for tinting.

2) Showed up early for my time...and found out that several cars were scheduled at the same time.

3) Waited nearly 4 hours nearby, at which point they called to tell me "We don't have the material we use for Groupon orders." Me: "I assume that means it's cheaper material." Them: "Yes."

4) I ask for them to upgrade the material since I drove a half hour to their shop and waited 4 hours for...nothing. They responded in an extremely rude manner, told me no way, and that I could wait another 2 hours for them to send someone out for the cheap stuff.

5) I told them to F off.

Nick has a son that runs the shop. He was the one who not only gave me the appointment time, but was there to make sure I had a horrible experience. Hey Nick, FIRE YOUR SON.

Also, when someone buys a package from you, and you're not properly supplied because you didn't do your job, MAKE IT RIGHT. Give the customer the higher grade material so they give you good reviews. Their actions that day will cost them a lot more, because, if you're smart, YOU WILL NOT GO THERE.

Fast, honest and reliable. Will definitely do business with again and will also recommend to friends and family!

I moved into a new suite and Nick was available same day to tint out a door and two bottom panels. He works really quickly and is super professional. Have recommended him to two other jobs

Had tint added to a emblem on the car. They did a great job at a fair price and completed in 15 minutes. Definitely recommend these guys.

Bait and Switch. Bought a Groupon, and then they charged me $75 on top of that to actually tint them. He told me to be there at 9am, which I was. He did not show til 10 because obviously his time is more important. When I asked for discount because he made me wait and hour before he strolled in, he told me to cancel and get a refund. Bad business practices. My own fault for not reading reviews first.

Talk to Adam. He's hands on, professional, fair and courteous. I take all my cars to get tinted by his shop. Nick is his dad, so you'll get the same service from back in the day. Don't forget to ask for the UV blocking film. It actually works!!!! No skin cancer for me!!!

Let's be real. Don't waste time researching places and hoping for the best. These guys are no joke - 100% the best around LA, possibly the world. I've taken every single car i've owned to these dudes and NEVER have I had an issue - they're fkn great - I lease on a yearly basis and from day one of tinting to the last day of removal, always professional, always available and ALWAYS work so fkn clean! I kid you not, I recommend EVERYONE I know to swing by. They've done more than a great job and i'm talking Alfa Romeo and BMW to Range Rover - matching the rear factory tint and cleaning any f*ckups the dealerships leave behind. JUST DO IT!

The work itself seems fine but I had wanted a darker tint for the front side windows. The service person refused to do it citing the legal limit in California of 70%. I'd respect that if only they didn't have a few cars there with darker tints up front. I'm going to have to find another store to see if they'd be willing to take care of this.

10/5 stars if I could rate them honestly. Very fast response time and was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. My car was ready in less than 2 hours! Best deal in the area!!
