I brought my son here on our way back from Jenkinson's wristband day, which was spectacular by comparison. I paid $5 to park here because we wanted to ride the looping coaster, of course it wasn't running and I've never seen it running. At least Jenkinson's website says what rides aren't open due to Covid. We started in the middle near a closed ticket booth, walked toward the go-kart end with bigger rides and noticed most rides were closed, most games were closed. People not wearing masks. We finally got to another closed ticket booth, it said to walk all the way back to the kiddie ride ticket booth. We do that, see more closed rides including the Camel boats which is dry and clearly hasn't been running. There is a line at the ticket booth, and even my 10 yr old understood it didn't make sense to get tickets. We left and within minutes it started pouring which made us happy we didn't stay. To be clear: I have had decent experiences here but that was several years ago.

My friends and I bought the $28 band for unlimited rides and almost none of the rides were operational. We also saw young staff employees fixing rides in front of us. I asked one guy when we could expect for it to be ready and he said “whenever I’m done”. Very rude and was a jerk. The manager of the park isn’t helpful when a lot of families asked for a refund. I get that it’s tough post pandemic but there needs to be a better refund policy. What a waste of a drive to Keansburg and incompetent staff. If there was a better focus on customer service and satisfaction, I would consider going back. I get it - everyone has a job to do - but geez, what a rip off and rude staff. The whole amusement park was a dud. Nothing open. Waste of time and ruined my day.

This place gets worse and worse every year. It is not clean, it’s understaffed, and the staff they do have are rude and immature. Each operator operates multiple rides so half the rides are practically closed unless you “ask” which illicit rude responses and promises that people are coming and never show up. I’ve been coming to Keansburg since a kid, have brought my kids here almost my yearly, but this will be our last visit!

Went to this park.. Bought a pina colada drink. Me and my sisters all bought a drink and instantly got really sick.. we were all fine and well until we went here and before we drank that pina colada. It might have been the pina colada or someone in the park was sick. But we all caught the colds, body aches and all... Just be careful going here. They don’t sanitize anything either. The food courts looks nasty and dirty smh....

I have been going here with my nephews since they were born and with friends before that. Always fun. The boys have enjoyed the rides and arcade since they were one. The older one is now almost 8. and yes on non peak hours there may not be an operator standing at each ride but they work multiple rides so when the little kids go on one ride then after that the operator moves to another ride for the kids to all go on and so on and so on. I've seen some comments here about people wearing masks and not wearing masks, that is not the Parks fault just as if you walked around in the mall or any other place if you're outside people tend to take off their masks. The place is always clean and it is always fun.

Really old fashioned amusements. Would have been great fun in the 70s but do dated now. It does have that retro feel but also in poorly maintained and very shabby. We went on the karts, quite good fun but everything else was falling apart. Most rides were babyish and my teen kids not interested. There are other better theme parks nearby, you can see Six Flags from here. We won't be coming back.

Me and my wife went to the pier around 2 pm last Tuesday . $8 per person. We were told if there was a thunderstorm, we must come back to the parking area. It was a nice day but there were no fish. The sky got dark and windy around 5 pm. We went back to the car, but left the fishing poles on the pier and didn't reel the line back. We thought we would come back when storm passed. All the people (about 8 people) came back with fishing poles and stuff. My wife said why are they leaving? ls it closed? The pier closes at 9 pm, according to the sign. My wife wanted to be nice and asked me to take the fishing poles back and leave early so the they could close early. (We always go twice a month to the pier ) An employee took our poles back when I got back on the pier. He cut our lines!! The sky become bright and there was no rain. The storm passed in 20 minutes. We lost at least 20 to 30 yards of fishing line for each real, and the hooks and sinkers as well. There was not enough fishing line left on the reel. We lost over $50 worth of supplies. We decided we would never go again.

I will admit, my "terrible" rating is partly due to what happened AFTER our visit, but I did write the park owner about my experience, and because he completely ignored me, that entered into my rating. As others have said, the park is very old, in a rundown part of a rundown town on an unattractive beach adjacent to an industrial area. But due to this, there were no lines for the rides, so my kids did have fun. BUT - most parking around the park is metered. There were no signs by my meter, and I paid for 3 hours. The meter would only accept 2 dollars. Later I found out that is due to the 2 hour limit. We got back to the car less than 5 minutes after the meter expired, to find a $30 ticket. The lot was only 25% full!! So that is how the town of Keansburg funds their town budget.

I wanted to fight the ticket, but of course court is 9:30AM weekdays, very inconvenient. So I called the court to pay the fine. Long story short, the court screwed up my paperwork, which led to them issuing a warrant for my arrest in my hometown!! I ran down to the police station to clear it up, pay the fine - 2 weeks later in my local police blotter it said I was arrested!! And it did not list the reason!!

So I totally realize my rating for this place is colored by my parking ticket fiasco - but if you do visit this place. . . .it could also happen to you!!!

Except for a few specific attractions (Waterpark and kiddie rides), I've come to the conclusion that this Amusement Park is on life-support and its now time to pull the plug and let it die. First off, I grew up in the area and any visit back to the "Burg" usually brought good memories...no more. Post Hurricane Sandy, the ONLY amusement remaining is from the few blocks of the traditional strip with most of the surrounding arcades and buildings boarded up and closed. Of course, the few local bars are still there too. If you must consider this place, it should only be because you are local and need to entertain some young kids for a few hours. And, if you are considering this place over other similar places at the shore that are much better, here's a few helpful suggestions: 1) Don't bring seniors, the walking is horrendous as most of the pavement is uneven and angled, 2) If its not FULL, park in the $5 private parking lot between the beach and the strip. Apparently, the bright people who run the town, give you 15 min/quarter in the municipal meters so unless you want to keep running back to your car, park in the $5 lot and save yourself this hassle. And those young guys in the grey shorts and shirts walking around with little pads of paper are not boy scouts - they're officers giving out tickets. 3) DO NOT play the crane games - ANY of them. Even though these are new machines, and supposedly regulated by the state, the pressure of the arms are not set to pick up anything. Don't believe me? Watch for a few minutes and see if you observe ANYONE actually win something at a crane game. People - you are paying a dollar to PLAY the crane game - not to win something! and 4) People watch! Bring your sun glasses and take a seat somewhere if you can. For this, you won't be disappointed. But sadly, I myself won't be back.

There is a reason that the park is cheap. It is dirty and needs to be upgraded. Also, did not feel too safe. There were couple of "floaters" hanging around. Nobody seems to question them or aks them what they were doing alone in the kids park. Apparantly the police are more interested in writing up tickes for exceeded the meter. I got a $30 Ticket for being 3 minutes late to get to my car. There were all but 4 cars in the lot of about 100 and they were still ticketing people rather than qestioning these randon perople hanging around the park. Keansburg should just put up a sign keep away! Stinky rides and meter naazis.
