Leann's Nails

I currently stay in Alameda and have been looking for a relaxing, dedicated environment to receive a pedicure. After receiving my pedicure I felt a sense of self care on another level, I enjoyed the aroma implemented which I never experienced during a service with hot stones included which felt amazing! I highly recommend Leann's nails for an all around luxurious pedicure that highlights self care in full experience with a reasonable price.

Leanne is such a nice nail tech, we always have great conversations, she does everything that I ask for and more!

What a nice nail salon that has been around for 3+ decades! I popped in as I was in the neighborhood, and Leann herself was there to help me. I went with the regular manicure and pedicure which came with a nice little massage, cuticle cuts and paint. Nothing fancy, but they do have that option should you decide to partake and spend a bit more money. It was about $75 I for a gel mani and regular pedi. (If memory serves correct). Although a bit pricier than my regular spot, seemingly that is inline for Alameda.

The space has about 4-5 pedi chairs, so I recommend thinking ahead on those busy weekend days. They have a whole array of non-toxic polish (I couldn't quite understand if all polish was non-toxic or just some of them).

Overall, they played relaxing music, they did a solid job on the nails and they were friendly. While not the best service I've had, and the paint job didn't last as long as it should have, it was a solid spot if convenient.

Called in to see if they took walk ins- and they do. Went in on a Monday afternoon and there was no one there except my friend and I, which was wonderful! The place was clean and smelled fresh. There were newspapers on the wall that showcased all of their achievements in being a toxic-free nail salon, which put my mind at ease. They were super friendly and we got top notch service and felt like rockstars with the place all to ourselves.

The pedi was divine. We both got the deluxe pedi which came with a scrub, regular hand massage, hot stone massage and Praffin wax foot softener. There were SO many gel colors to choose from! And the ladies there were just sweet as pie.

I mentioned that I found them through Yelp and that made them so happy. Thank you for the wonderful service!

We are new to Alameda and were hoping to find a good pedi spot and called to see If they had any availability for walk ins--while they normally don't take walk ins, Leann welcomed us with such wonderful hospitality. She took good care of us and even offered a complementary hot stone massage. We are so excited to have such a clean nail spa with great customer service and even better energies!! Even the plants are beautiful!! Do not hesitate to book with Leann, you will LOVE IT!!

I came in here on a Wednesday there was no wait. The ladies were really nice even offered to keep an eye on my car since the meter outside wasn't working and that's about where that ends. I got a manicure! of course they upsell so she advised that I get some hard gel which I went ahead and tried for $50, the gel is already cracked! Three days in ... She soaked my nails in a bowl with a slice of lemon for 30 seconds she barely trimmed my nails and did not clean underneath my nails NOT TO MENTION! The gel was not covering the edge of the nail which she blamed me for not putting my hand evenly into the LED lamp then it bubbled up when she tried to apply more gel to fix it at which point I said that it wasn't OK so she filed most of it off and redid them. They were a little better but not what they were suppose to be then she sent me to wash my hands she took out the lotion to do the massage which after I paid she didn't do! and had put the lotion away I said my nails aren't shiny like they're suppose to be and she laughed and put one more coat of clear and oil and said I was done !!! I didn't say anything else I just wanted to leave at this point . I don't recommend this place. They're nice but they don't do good work!

I was at Leann's salon on Saturday April 6th. I had a "dip" manicure and a "deluxe" pedicure. Total cost $120. Leann the owner did my manicure and once she was done she asked me to go next door to the dispensary to pull cash out from their ATM, she said that they prefer cash because it's better for small businesses. The manicure was mediocre, I could tell something was off. It seemed as though it never appropriately dried. A receipt for cash payment was never given or offered.

The next morning I woke up to my nails absolutely destroyed. Monday 4/8 I walked into the salon asking for a refund, she refused. She said she would do them over and I said no I don't want to sit for another 2 hours and not know if they are going to last. She refused to give me a refund and told me to call the police. I thought about it, and it felt silly to call the police so I decided to just ask for a receipt instead. She refused to give me a receipt and told me I need to call the police for a receipt. So I did. She not only wasted my time and money she wasted the time of the police department and the guests in her chair at that time. I am definitely reporting her and her business and I urge you to not waste a dime or your time. The photos attached are what my nails looked like the next morning at 6am along with the "receipt" she gave the police officer.

Just came for my first appointment with my daughter. Leann was so welcoming and was happy to celebrate seeing my family grow. Leann reminded me that after working with my mother and my daughter, she has now been working with my family for three generation! We are so lucky to have such a longstanding business in our community with such a great proprietor who cares about her customers. Simply the best!

Leann's is excellent value for price. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Bonus is a focus on a non-toxic environment-- no strong smells and a calming atmosphere. Will definitely make this my regular nail spot!

I have been dying to find a good, sanitary pedicure spot. New to the area I yelped some places and found Leanna's. She so graciously accepted my friend and I as two last minute pedicure walk ins. We were instantly greeted with friendliness, very welcoming environment. Leann herself chatted with us and offered such great customer service , no wonder she has been in business so long! I highly recommend, from the cleanliness to calming environment, my overall experience was great! I am very particular when it comes to a good pedi and I will definitely be coming back to Leann's !
