This place is enchanting and kind of uniquely charming. Their is like a subtle cool knight decoration and a dungeon castle vibe to this place. I would have given this place 5 stars but they replaced the dart board area with gambling machines and that made me sad because I love playing darts, it's addicting too. I ordered the Irish Nachos and I didn't know it was going to show up in a extra big basket with so much food! So much cheesy, deliciously adorned with bacon bits and more potato chips. I love this appetizer for a group. My friend tried some kind of sandwich with a soup dip. Maybe a beef French onion kind of meal, I forgot to ask him the exact name. He liked it though. This place has 2 main pool tables and it was pretty cool to play pool with my friend. This place also has a lot of televisions and a lot of people were cheering different sports games and teams. The waitresses seem pretty nice. Honestly this place is definitely worth checking out.

Stay away from this place and don't even bother going. The place is poorly ran, overpriced, and looks sad on the inside.
My final experience consisted of someone telling me to get out of the seat I was sitting in. Turned out it was the owner's son, who later forced management to give up the spot I had sat in long before the owner's son and his obnoxious friends even walked in. Let's just say I asked for the bill and left... and won't ever return. Plus the food isn't even good quality.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shelby O.Edmonton, Canada147153Dec 17, 2018
A very cool room with space stretch out, Good prices on beer, good view of Tv's for sports, and a friendly staff.
This has been a neighbourhood family haunt for years. It's great for happy hours and watching a game. There are lots of tvs so your
Whole party can get a decent view from almost every table and the sound is really good.
We end up sticking around for long stays because the deals are pretty good and the room is comfy.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 24, 2017Updated review
You really want a pub close but that you can drop in for a carbonated beverage, some great food and an atmosphere that makes coming back a must. Sadly I got maybe one out of those three the other night.
If you are there to watch a game on one of the many screens, you're in luck. Lots of options all around so that's great. There are not that many tables that are ideally positioned to watch the big screens, but if you get there early before the puck drops, you can pick and choose. This is where the good news ends.
Our waitress was very friendly, very engaged, but what seemed to be very uninformed. Knowing what's on tap to me is one of the basics when working in a pub. Finally got my wobbly pop but, if I want room temperature beer I'll look for a British venue with bitters. It was okay but NOT cold and refreshing.
The food. Aargh. When you send your wings back twice because the temp is just barely above being 'cool', and on the third time to hit the table they are still not pipping hot, what is wrong in the kitchen? The taste was good but man oh man, serve hot food please. Especially when you've got three tries to get it right. The Angry Lion burger was okay. The patty was well cooked with a good pile of fixins', I'd order that one again. But, next time I'd ask for the non-overcooked french fries. What a mix. Can't get the wings hot because they didn't leave them in the cooker long enough and then they leave the fries in the fryer way too long.
The other ungood thing was the outrageous price for a pint of IPA. Almost $8 and it isn't even cold. Wow.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 9, 2016Previous reviewWanted a wing fix after watching the football game. Sadly their wing nights are on Tues & Thu. Arrgh. Wings Wednesday has such nice alliteration. Oh well.
Had the house 'hot' and the habanero mango along with a draft. Both the draft and the hot wings were warm, or restated the beer was not cold and the wings were not hot. The spiciness was okay. The habanero's were interesting but they were a little 'soggy'. Had they been crispy it might have enhanced the flavour.
Service was okay. They give you a meager portion of coleslaw along with the wings. While wings are definitely finger food I prefer to eat my cole slaw with a fork. Just a thought for next time! Friendly service that can only get better with experience!
Will definitely go back. This place has such potential I just hope they realize it. - Rylan P.Winnipeg, Canada15359Jun 12, 2018Updated review
This place continues to slide downhill. I live in the neighbourhood and come here periodically over the last 10 years. The service was better when it was a strip club (the dirty dale). Several times, I have visited, and sat with an empty glass for 15 to 20 minutes. That's unacceptable for a Bar!!

We have been here twice on Mondays just by random chance. Both times the food was awesome - pickles are amazing! Pizza is surprisingly really good as well! The service was great. We had only been once a few weeks before and the server remembered us. We will definitely be going back again.

went with my boyfriend for supper. I had just a salad which was fine, but he greatly disliked the bayou chicken burger so much he didn't even eat it. he said he was dissatisfied last time he ate here as well. it's such a shame since it's so close.
