About Chef Ariella

My name is Ariel this is my gluten-free blog that I want to share with you. I am Vegan and Gluten-Free, I made this choice years ago, with a decision to eat meat free due to me consistently getting sick from meat and meat products over a year period, I break out, not fun as a thirty-something to have acne breakouts and dark spots.

My love of gardens and eating your yard has truely turned into wonderful healing for my spirit, body and soul. My decision to become Gluten-Free was based upon my personal choice to introduce healthier flours into my diet and after researching the effects white and wheat flour has on the body's daily function's. I do not have a diagnosis, however, in listening to my body and what makes it thrive, living a Vegan and Gluten-Free Lifestyle has proven to be a healthful and loving relationship, which has continued to excite me every moment!

Although my choice to live a Vegan and Gluten-Free Lifestyle are wonderful and sacred in my ideals, I encourage you to try some of my recipes and induldge in the constant findings and make your own dietary decisions on your own. I am not a doctor or registered dietician, so as you explore please consult a naturopath prior to starting a new diet regimne.

When I first entertained transforming my eating, I had been breaking out and feeling quite unhealthy, these are a few of the questions I asked myself and ask you to contemplate as you what types of foods do you consume regularly? How can your food choices be transformed? Is creating your own or participating in a Community Garden of Interest to you? Is Eating Raw or Vegan with soul an interesting concept for you? Are you interested in what Gluten-Free tastes like?
I hope you enjoy my recipes, experiences and tips for living gluten-free.

I would love and am excited to hear from you, so please drop me a comment when you are inspired to. Questions, constructive comments, and praise are always welcome! First and foremost, I want to promote a community of support for gluten-free living on my The Awakened Palate: Healing Through Food Blog.

As you think about these questions and journey through this blog, I ask that you be open to the fun of Learning, Embracing, Sharing, and Experiencing pure decadence while being open to trying new culinary flavors and having new experiences!

With Love,

Ariel
