Located in Peoria is this gem for those who love Broadway performances. It's perfect from groups and dates to enjoy dining and quality time together.
I paid for dinner and the show so my family and I could watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
When we came through the doors, they tried to create the Charlie and the Chocolate factory experience through the decor and candy bar set up. My kids automatically flocked to grab candy. It was the most expensive candy I've ever purchased.
We came early to dine in at 12 and catch the 2pm performance. We had the best experience ever!Helpful 8Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Mar 3, 20241 check-in
First time here for a murder mystery and we had a lot of fun. Very interactive and the cast was very personable.
Very well written show with good humor.
The food was a 3 course dinner and was very good.
About a 2-1/2 hour that was entertaining, engaging and fun.
Will definitely be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 261963437Jan 18, 2024
When I booked tickets, I think my expectations were all off. I have seen shows at the Gammage and the Orpheum, and I thought from the name this would be on par with that. This was more like community theater. That is not to say that there is a problem with community theater, but the venue is charging Gammage prices for community theater productions. We saw "White Christmas," and it was lovely, but it was definitely not the same. The price should have been 1/2, maybe 2/3 of what I paid for two seats crammed against the back wall that couldn't even order drinks. Because we didn't order dinner seats, the whole process made us feel like an afterthought. We were not allowed to enter until 15 minutes before the show, so we had to mill about the lobby. It was good we had time to grab a drink from the bar because they will not serve you at your table unless you have paid for dinner, even though the dinner tables kept receiving service throughout the production.
It was fun to see "White Christmas," which is a cherished favorite of mine, and I am glad we did it, but I can't imagine making the trek this far out or paying their prices for another production there.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Connie C.Phoenix, AZ775032Jan 27, 2024
We spoke with the Event Sales Director about holding a large lunch meeting (150-200 people) and he gave us a fabulous proposal with a great price. The main theatre space is perfect for a luncheon with VIP speakers. There is also a smaller space with a balcony which could fit the group as well. And walking into the beautiful lobby space is welcoming and very chic. Tons of free parking. #MeetingPlanners and #EventPlanners you need to take a look ~ this is a gem for your groups!

We saw a show today that was supposed to be interactive in a cruise ship. Can remember the name. I left during the first section. We both left before it ended. So did the two women next to us. There was a drunk guy acting very drink. Which ws over kill. There were children in there snd thru talked and it seemed not appropriate for them. It's unfortunate that to was so terrible.

For the amount of money we pay it seems that they would do a better job on the food. Last time, maybe it was because it was thd last night of disaster, food was not edible. We have so many theaters in town to see great plays I want one they I get what I pay for.

I never heard of Arizona Broadway Theater until attending an event yesterday. There's a nice parking lot. The restroom is clean and stocked. The decor is appealing to the eye. The organization hosting their event was organized and very professional. The venue staff is courteous. I chatted at their vendor table for the event and will be adding this to my list of event venues. The meal was delicious and the team kept the buffet stocked. I didn't know what to expect of the venue or the event. However, I was totally impressed.

We attended the White Christmas performance as a family. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning to ABT. Seating was affordable and we had no trouble booking tickets. We had dinner before the show. Our meals were all well-prepared and very good. The special "theme" cocktails were a fun and festive addition. Our wait staff were all very pleasant, capable young people.
The stage performance was very well-done. Singers and dancers were professionals and delivered excellent performances. For a small venue the overall experience was top notch. Best live performance bang for your buck anywhere!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard B.Tucson, AZ02212Aug 19, 2023
I don't know why it has taken me so long to post something about ABT- I have been coming for a little over a year. I have never had a bad experience here. From the service to the food - the choices that the theater group makes to the sheer talent of the cast and crew. We are always excited about coming and leave with big smiles. Disaster didn't disappoint. I could actually see it again. Thanks ABT! You're a hidden gem.

I would have given a 5 stars if I hadn't eaten here...we arrived at 5:15...seated at 5:30..Ordered all our food at one time. We got our salads at 6:20. Springs a tsp of beets and 4 mandrian oranges saucer size salad. Server came by at around 645 and said I will check on your food. She pretty much ignored us after that. At around 7 she walked by. I said excuse me where is our food. Manager came over about 7:10. She was so rude. Questioning about our order. ACTING LIKE IT WAS OUR FAULT! We saw her talking to our server looking at us with disgust. At 7:18 our food arrived. Almost 2 hours to get our main course!!!! We had 12 mins before the show started so we had to eat fast. Worst experience with food. The show was amazing totally worth it. But don't waste your time or money on the food. The food bill says dinner is 25 but when you add a meal it's 28. So many food places in the area. ..Go somewhere else!!!!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Apr 21, 2022
Thank you so much to Arizona Broadway Theatre and Yelp for the free tickets to "Flashdance." I won two tickets through an Instagram contest.
My boyfriend and I arrived around 6:45 pm for the 7:30 pm show. We talked with the friendly folks at Will Call and picked up our tickets. We then went to the bar and pre-ordered a dessert for intermission. We ordered the gluten-free lava cake. They have a different selection of desserts for every show.
A friendly volunteer usher seated us and we looked over our programs. The only criticism I have about the whole experience is they do not list cast bios in the program. You have to scan the QR code to look at an online version of the program. That's ok, but it would be easier to have it right there in the program.
The show itself was fantastic! It was fast-moving with great dance numbers. A lot of choreography went into this show. The singing was top-notch as well. Several of the actors came to Arizona from New York to be in this show, which was impressive.
The volunteers and staff were welcoming and helpful. The dessert was delicious. The facility was clean and we had a great view from our table. We will definitely return to Arizona Broadway Theatre. Their 2022 - 2023 season has some exciting shows coming up!Helpful 19Thanks 0Love this 18Oh no 0
