Sony 3D Handycam
Most consumer 3D camcorders sacrifice resolution in order to pull off their 3D trickery. This one uses two HD lenses, both working at a full 1080p resolution, to produce what Sony claims is the "first true HD" consumer 3D camera. And the playback LCD screen? It's one of a growing number found on consumer devices that don't need glasses to play 3D footage.

Olympus Close Up Spotlight MAL-1 Accessory
Shooting with a flash typically requires a leap of faith—because the light doesn't pop up until you take the shot, it's impossible to preview what it will look like. This adjustable light—which snaps into the accessory port on Olympus' PEN line of cameras, allows for infinitely adjustable, constant light for close-up and macro shots. In other words: You can preview the product, before hitting the shutter. And because the LED light jacks into the camera's battery, no extra battery is needed.

Sony Vaio L Series Touch HD PC/TV
The bezel on most touchscreen is just wasted space. The touch area on this all-in-one PC (which doubles as a serviceable, if small, HDTV, thanks to its HDMI inputs) extends into the bezel, where users can navigate various menus and options. The purpose: to reduce the number of greasy fingerprints that end up on the viewable part of the screen. The system will go on sale in late February for about $1200.

Samsung 9 Series Laptop
For better or worse, any superslim laptop these days is bound to be compared to the MacBook Air.
And it seems that Samsung's new 9 Series laptop has taken a pretty sweet shot at Apple's thin sliver of a computer. The 13-inch Series 9 is just a tiny bit slimmer at .64 inches, and a few feathers lighter at 2.89 pounds.
But it also packs a far-more impressive Intel i5 processor and 4GB of RAM, plus USB 3 connectors and built-in WiMax and a "Durolumin" alloy shell that Samsung claims is several times stronger than aluminum. Samsung produces much of the memory used in SSDs, so unsurprisingly, the Series 9 has a built in solid-state drive that boots Windows 7 in just 12 seconds. The design also is far sleeker than the Air, the price, however, is less sleek, at $1600.
