2009: Played in five games as the backup QB behind Thaddeus Lewis ... saw action against Army, Kansas, N.C. Central, North Carolina and Georgia Tech ... on the year, completed 34-of-50 (.680) passes for 330 yards with four TDs and two INTs ... in first collegiate action, came off the bench at Army to lead Duke to a 35-19 come-from-behind victory ... against the Black Knights, hit on seven-of-eight passes for 106 yards and two TDs ... first career pass attempt was a 17-yard TD strike to TE Brett Huffman ... threw for a season-high 115 yards along with one TD at Kansas ... after completing five-of-six passes for 44 yards against Georgia Tech, suffered season-ending knee injury ... underwent surgery to repair torn anterior cruciate ligament in right knee on November 21, 2009 ... on the field for 92 snaps.
