Wise Guys Philly Cheesesteak n Gyros

Stopped here on the way home from Santa Cruz.

Wanted something other than tacos or burgers. We had the Philly Cheese steaks.

Not the best or the worst. Rolls are good, good amount of fake meat. - no cheese.

The fries and unlimited soft drinks is the reason for 3 stars. The service - just ok. The restaurant was hot-so we opted to sit outside in the 105 degree heat. Still cooler than in the restaurant.

Maybe we will try it again in the fall- not too sure.

Got a gyro here and was wowed by the size. This Chicago gyro is all meat, no filler, seriously piled high. I like that the give you substantial portion of tzatziki on the side. Felt healthy after I saw the cheesesteak pictures because this gyro isn't cheesed and greased. I could barely hold it it was piled so high with meat and I will certainly be back for another and another provided they don't change a thing.

The place is pretty small, tv's play sports mostly making this a great working man's lunch stop. I came here a while ago before and had a cheesesteak but it didn't bring me back as it seemed a little small, that gyro is a winner though.

Came in late for a dinner and didn't know what to expect. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak original and made it a combo. I was surprised at how big it was when it was put on the table.

I ordered it all the way with all the peppers and it was fantastic. The flavor was there and since it was made fresh the temperature was hot. The fries were steak fries and seasoned with I think all season spice.

I would want to come back and try the gyro or something else on their menu. Good price too.

The place isn't fancy, just a small place with about 6 tables.

Once I saw the sign for an orignal PHILLY CHEESESTEAK I knew I just had to try it out. My findings are simply stated in my stars...it was just ok.
Let me provide more details on my vague ok review. I ordered and ate an original Philly cheesesteak with grilled onions and sweet peppers, as well as, some fries. The mister ordered the same sandwich but with onion rings as a side. The sandwiches were average size. There was nothing wrong with the food. It just did not taste like sometime so BOMB diggity yummy as the legends of the actual orginal sandwich in Philly. A name like that in the title of the sandwich definitely got my hopes up. That is all.

Love this place. Their cheesesteak sandwich is the best.
Fast services. Usually I ordered steak sandwich and onion ring fried. Never got disappointed.
Today I got something off the menu, it was mushroom and sweet jalapeño sandwich. It was really good.

Love this place and I have noticed that it has been closed for the past week and yesterday I noticed the TV's have been removed from the walls ;(

The service has always been great and everything I have ever tried has been delicious. I hope they are just remodeling.

I was HANGRY today since I had not eaten anything all morning so my fiancé noticed my behavior and took me out for a delicious lunch and cured my symptoms. LOL!!! I had never tried a philly cheese steak until today and I have to say it was pretty darn delicious!!! I ordered the Chicago style gyro and my fiancé ordered the philly cheese steak and we split the each sandwich to get a little taste of both. Omg the onion rings were BOMB and the Taztiki sauce was refreshing. I highly recommend this place!

Stopped by on a whim today and ordered a Cheesesteak hoagie style (added lettuce tomato and mayo). It was quite good, and very fresh!

Pros: Fresh, fast and very clean calm surroundings. Adding fries and a drink was only $2.99, great value!

Cons: I would love to see sandwich size choices, as the only one option was too much food for me.

First time here. Needed to be in Dublin for the weekend and a Groupon offer came up for this place... husband had the Classic Philadelphia Philly cheesesteak and I had the fish and chips. Both meals were good and satisfying. The garlic fries were delicious as well. There were two employees behind the counter... service was fast. Place was clean. The only negative I could say about this experience was the directions on locating this place. The direction pointed us to the airport but we had to drive further down to find it. That's after driving an extra 15 min trying to locate the place.

It's halal. So that's a huge plus.

Philly cheesesteak is pretty good. Nothing exceptional but not bad either. The lady at the counter asked if we wanted mushrooms. We said sure. We weren't informed it was extra. Our philly was filled with mushrooms.

P.S. The person at the neighboring table seemed to be really enjoying his burger. Next time i think I'll try that!
