A safe and effective means of anxiety reduction is the use of Nitrous Oxide (some call it laughing gas). Nitrous Oxide will place you in a relaxed state but still allow you to communicate with the dentist. After the procedure, you quickly return to 100% of consciousness which allows you to walk out and drive your car away as if nothing ever happened. But for those with such fear, just showing up to the office is a major barrier. If this is you, rest assured that your first visit could simply be a consultation to discuss your fears and dental concerns. After that, we'll take it one step at a time to get you comfortable at our office. My staff is a compassionate group of individuals who are ready, willing, and able to be there for you during your visit.
