Heart of the King. Elvis tribute bands

by Hotlantaaaaaaa on 6/14/16Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Very funny and entertaining. I laughed just as much as when seeing a comedy show. Vocals, music and comedy all mixed in to make a very fun event.

Two 'Pretty Good' Shows in One

by CAWman on 6/13/16Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This show was good, but not what I would have expected, from someone who has spent many years doing tribute concerts to the King. The first half featured the younger Elvis, and the moves/dancing were extraordinary... just excellent. However, this young man's voice was 'pretty good.' The second half which featured Sean was also mixed... he does have a powerful voice and could rock the place at times. However, his comments and actions between numbers were disheveled, and he didn't connect with his audience in a warm way... seemed spacey. Also, his ability to move/dance was limited. So, all in all, it was a 'pretty good' show, but not what I had hope for.

I love Cobb Energy, and was excited about this show. Unfortunately, it was a huge let down.

    Good, but not great

by HarryZap on 6/13/16Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Maybe I had high expectations for this show having seen a couple of other tributes recently, so I was a little disappointed in the overall presentation of this show. I found it somewhat amateurish compared to other shows, for example, the Australian Bee Gees, at the same venue. I will say that the 2 "Elvis's" gave of their best and really had to work hard to get the somewhat poor crowd going. Overall on OK show.

Cody and Shawn were unbelievable-awesome performances. Can't wait for them to see them again!!! Even if you're not a big Elvis fan, you will be after this show. The BEST Elvis Tribute artists around. Fantastic!!!

heart of the king still beating

by ndkcco on 6/26/14Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Both tribute artists were very good and seemed to work hard to please their audience. My daughter and I thought the band and harmony (guys) were very weak for such a performance. The staging also was unimpressive for this size venue. Thumbs up for the two artists!

Best tribute artists i"ve seen to date.

by Stubops on 6/26/14Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

Had the <68 Elvis and the >69 Elvis who each were great with voice and actions. The best feature was Portia and Estella, two of the amazing Sweet Inspirations who sang with Elvis after the comeback. The interaction was witty and made you feel as if you were watching a real Elvis concert.
