About

STEVE EARLE IN CONCERT:

To hear country folk star Steve Earle live is to embark on an adventure through the musical heartland, hitting every stop along the way — from honky tonk and rockabilly to good old-fashioned Texas blues. His quirky but deeply emotional tunes are each a short story in and of themselves, carrying fans through the full gamut of emotions at his passionate live shows. On tour, he's a down-to-earth entertainer and he loves to please his fans with his hits.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

San Antonio-raised country singer Steve Earle left home as a teenager to literally follow in the footsteps of country legend Townes Van Zandt. He found a mentor in Van Zandt in Houston and spent the next few years bouncing between Texas and Nashville before releasing his now-classic debut Guitar Town. Personal struggles followed his career as his success grew, but he overcame them and prospered in their wake, releasing 13 studio albums and receiving three Grammys over the course of his career. He has become a sought after songwriter for movies and TV, and continues to take his act on the road with no signs of slowing down.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"The concert was so cool! So talented. Steve sang all of the songs we had been waiting for. And he kept coming back and singing more!"

"Steve Earle was great. His band, great as well. He played nearly three hours including all the songs I would expect to hear. It was great!"

"This was better than the Stones. You may find this hard to believe, but it is true. Steve Earle is totally amazing. His talent is not to be believed. I was enthralled from the first minute he walked onto the stage until the last minute."

    Very good!

It was my first exposure to him and his music aside from Copperhead Road and The Galway Girl. His prowess as a songwriter and performer is superb. The venue had good food and drink, and offered excellent views of the stage. Great experience!

    Great artist terrible venue!!

    by Charles on 8/21/23

I had misplaced my phone & had to almost beg the box office employee to let me into the show which I had paid for & for which she could verify on her system. She would not give me any type of receipt so when I went to my seat I was accosted by ushers. Despite being in the seat for which I had paid for they refused to leave me alone to enjoy the support act. Thankfully, a stranger next to me loaned me her phone so I could access my account and prove my seat. I have literally had easier times navigating foreign borders and public transport in non-English speaking countries. I very much suggest avoiding this venue! Steve Earle, as always, was excellent.

Steve Earle was phenomenal! I had a great time listening to his story telling and wonderful music. The venue at Brown County never disappoints and continues to get better every visit.

I’ve literally been to hundreds of concerts and Steve Earle’s Acoustic Show is definitely in my top 5. Extremely talented writer, musician and story teller. Highly recommended show. Looking forward to seeing him again in the future.

Love Steve Earle, hate obnoxious bar people

    by MrRGWood on 7/27/23

Steve Earle is awesome and always will be. He sounded great and played a nice mix of songs. The Neptune is a fabulous venue. The only bad thing was the obnoxious bar patrons talking through the show, even during quiet songs and during Steve’s thoughts about the loss of his son. Disrespectful, and they made it hard to hear the music at times.

Steve Earle - Still going strong

    by Cranium on 7/23/23

I've wanted to see Steve Earle perform for many years - and it finally happened at the historic Neptune Theater in Seattle. Steve was in a good mood, shared personal anecdotes, played his instruments well and gave a performance worthy of his near-legendary status. Note to Ticketmaster: please make it a policy to publish a timeline for every show including what time the doors open, if there is an opening act, what time the opening act is scheduled to perform, and what time the headliner is scheduled to perform. This information is in your hands prior to the show, so please share it with anxious ticketholders in advance.

    A night to remember.

    by Daniel on 7/19/23

Steve is still at the top of his game. He was very nice and talkative, and many of his speeches were very moving. He is a superb acoustic guitar player and he keeps a very good voice. The show lasted a little less than two hours but he managed to sing a ton of songs. I had very good seats and I am happy that I was on vacation in Grand Junction and I was able to see him one more time.
