After spending many years of detailing it was clear that customer service was lacking from the overall detailing experience. We pride ourselves on your satisfaction. Much of our business comes from repeat customers and client referrals, so it is essential that you are totally satisfied. Please call 404.549.8499 with any questions or concerns. John Lawson - Owner

!!!BEWARE!!! These guys damaged my vehicle then the owner hung up on me when I confronted him about it. They peeled off part of my rear window, then put the top down (the car is a convertible) so that we wouldn't see the damage until long after they had gone.
!!!STAY AWAY!!! They drenched the inside of my car in a thick coat of Armor All. So much in fact, that it pooled in areas. It looked like a monkey threw cleaner at my car from across the yard. This is one of the dangers of using Groupons - you have already paid for the service.
Take your car to a gas station for a $6.00 wash - you'll be happier.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott J.Atlanta, GA01969Jul 6, 2010
Scheduling an appointment using my Groupon was very challenging. After 3 weeks, I was finally able to get a time slot. They were scheduled to arrive at 12:30pm - they arrived at 3:55pm. They did call to give me a heads up they were behind schedule, but that's not much of a consolation. It felt a lot like waiting for the cable guy.
The crew was nice and friendly, but they did a lousy job. They claimed they waxed the vehicle - NO chance it was waxed. The paint felt very gritty - not the smooth, silky feel after waxing/buffing.
I've had my vehicle detailed 5 or 6 times by other vendors and this was by far the worst detailing job. Perhaps it was the crew, perhaps it was the fact that I used a Groupon instead of paying their full rate - who knows.
One thing I do know is that I won't be using them again.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David F.Atlanta, GA410Nov 8, 2011
Unbelievable. The guys washing the car were courteous and professional. But, broke the power seat switch. That's when the real problem came up--when my wife called the owner to complain. He actually called my wife a b**ch for complaining, refused to listen, then interrupted her by yelling he would not pay for it and hung up on her. She tried again the next day (maybe he had calmed down? Um, no) and got the exact same results.
My wife did tip the two guys even though they did a mediocre job. They over wet the car mats which took overnight to dry and she had to go over spots they missed. She did not pay for the wash because of the power seat they broke. It cost us $400 for the power seat to be fixed. We thought about taking the case to small claims court (the owner once screamed "Sue me" to my wife so we thought "Okay") but decided to tell you instead.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Luckie D.Atlanta, GA85656565Sep 22, 2011
On time, on schedule and I was pleased with the service....then why only 2 starts....
There scheduling process SUCKS !!!!. Send an email, maybe get an auto reply then wait two or more days to be officially acknowledged (if your very lucky) and receive an email response. Don't bother calling you go to some mailbox in the cloud and never get a return call. To John's credit (who's the owner) whom I finally got on a call and asked about how customer un-friendly the process was he tried to get LOUD.....really.... He told me "We responded to you in two days some people wait two weeks".....are you kidding me? Its a car wash for goodness sake not some appointment with a celebrity hairdresser. Give me a break !
Like I said the job was done satisfactorily but NEVER again based entirely on the scheduling process.....Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - C G.Canton, GA6470259Mar 17, 2015
John, the owner, has been detailing my cars for YEARS. He always does a great job and I know it will be done right the first time. We had him do a detail on a family members car for a present it looked like a whole new car afterwards! Stains that I never thought would come out, came out! John is a miracle worker on cars!
All of these people complaining were Groupon purchasers. Of course its going to take a long time to get an appointment! Groupon sells hundred of those deals and its a small company. Don't be a cheap a** and only get your car detailed when you can get a deal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris C.Clearwater, FL63822Sep 6, 2011Updated review
Finally got the chance to use my other Groupon. Very poor job again. Interior windshield wasn't cleaned. Exterior windows above window visors wasn't cleaned. I could have done a better job myself at the local self serve car wash.
When I complained this time, I did get a voicemail from the owner. He offered to re-detail the car. Sorry buddy, this was your last opportunity to get it right the first time and you failed miserably again!
Do not waste your money. The poor job is not worth the 'convenience' of them coming to you. Patronize your local detail shop instead.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 6, 2011Previous reviewOverall, I'm pretty disappointed with Mr. Mobile. I purchased 3 detail packages (one Groupon, two Half Off Depot).
I had two of the details done in early Nov '10.
The first car they did was in pretty rough shape when they started. They did a decent job of getting it cleaned up, but nothing extraordinary.
The second car is '89 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that is in GREAT shape. A real cream puff. I don't drive it often and wanted to get it cleaned up before I garaged it for the winter. The interior was pretty clean to start with, so it just needed a once over. The exterior had some tree sap and leaf residue that needed to be addressed.
It was a crew of two guys that came out. The one that did the work on the Caddy was more interested in playing games on his phone rather than working on the car (I watched from the window above without him knowing).
When they were done with the cars he went over them with me. He said that the Caddy would probably need to be gone over with a buffer and that's not something they normally do for Groupons. What really bothers me about this statement is that I thought I was purchasing their normal detail package at a discounted rate. At least that's what they advertised. Were the details that they performed worth the $75 that I paid per car (plus a $15 tip per car), maybe...at most. But they advertised that what I was purchasing was their $150 detail package for $75. I would be completely unsatisfied if I had actually paid full price.
When I went to schedule the third detail, I commented that I was disappointed with the service and that it was not what they had advertised. I was told the comments would be relayed to the owner. I still, to this day, haven't heard anything more about it.
Due to some scheduling issues on my part, the final car won't be detailed until April. This is the last chance that Mr. Mobile has to redeem themselves for their past poor service and lack of customer service. Once the final detail is completed I will update my review and let you know how I made out. - Katharine P.Atlanta, GA43Nov 7, 2011
If I could give this service ZERO stars, I would. Alas, the rating system with Yelp disallows this. In fact, I would give Mr. Mobile a NEGATIVE TEN.
Mr. Mobile called me and made an appointment for 11am today. It was a Firm appointment time.
I actually left an important business meeting this morning to be where I had promised I would be with the car at 11am today to honor the appointment. And I drove 1/2 hour at top speed to be on time for the appointment. I work for myself. This business meeting this morning was all the way across town and was important to me because it was an attempt for me to close a deal. The meeting was going very well, but it was taking longer than I had anticipated. It became past time for me to be on the road as the place where I had promised to have the car is 1/2 hour away. I certainly was not going to miss the appointment with John as it took 5 phonecalls, 3 emails to him, 1 email to you all, and 7 weeks to get this appointment! So what did I do? I actually left my business meeting. I left my clients. I was where I'd promised I'd be at 11:00 and 30 seconds.
No Mr. Mobile.
11:15 I call and leave a message.
11:24 I get a text message. "all our people are out with the flu"
THEY COULD NOT HAVE TOLD ME THAT THIS MORNING???????THEY JUST FOUND OUT THEY HAVE THE FLU AT 11:24 AM ?????????
I could have spent more time with my clients. I could have taken care of the business which needed to be handled. Afterward I could have taken care of all the errands I needed to do in that part of town. Instead I am just completely hosed. My business meeting can not continue. My errands can not be handled where I am now. My car is completely empty and all the contents of the car are in my living room floor (since this morning, handled before I left for my meeting).
I text back that John is inexcusably unprofessional.
I actually get a return phonecall from John telling me that he has had the flu since last week and that this why he didn't let me know anything.
John certainly knew last week that he would have probable issues following through this morning. He knew this past weekend. And he knew this morning. Yet, No phone call. No text message. Nothing.
Mr. Mobile has created nothing but chaos for me and nothing but problems. I will Never work with Mr. Mobile in any city at any time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Suzanne C.Atlanta, GA57199210Jan 7, 2012
Bought a car detail through groupon and cannot get them to respond to schedule my detail. It expires January 26th. I thought emailing them at the beginning of January would give me plenty of time. Have complained to groupon about their lack of response. After reading the lack of service from other purchasers and the poor job they do on cars, I think getting my money back would be the best "deal"!
Update--contacted Groupon about my difficulties contacting Mr. Mobile to schedule. After reading all the poor reviews on multiple websites and the damage they had inflicted on cars, I was scared to use them. Happy to say Groupon refunded all my money! Groupon actually stands behind their customers!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dr. Danielle D.Atlanta, GA0614Apr 7, 2013
I recently called Mr. Mobile to come to my office in Midtown and detail my car along with clean ups for my employees. When I called the owner John answered, was very professional and scheduled me in for the following day. He showed up early to the appointment and was finished in a timely manor. All of the cars looked great!
I read these previous reviews and I was very surprised. My service was timely, professional and up to standard. I will definitely use Mr. Mobile again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - marcus m.Atlanta, GA0332Jun 16, 2010
I had them detail my SUV a month ago. They completely forgot the glove box, did a half-ass job on the door jambs, and tore up one of the floor mats to where there is no nap left in one area. What surprised me as well is that when they were done the owner handed me the keys and left without giving me a chance to look at or comment on the job he did! Maybe the fact that I bought this from his Groupon ad and paid less than 50% had something to do with it, but I don't see how that's going to gain him any repeat customers at full price.
While I would have rated Mr. Mobile higher had this been advertised as a mini-detail, it was below average for a full-service detail. My suggestion to Mr. Mobile is to remember that discounts bring people in ... quality and service brings them back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
