We just returned from our winter vacation to Whistler. We are big foodies and love trying out new places. This tour is a great way to get a 'taste' of about 4 fine dining establishments in Whistler!
We started out at Bearfoot Bistro where we visited their enormous wine cellar where my husband was the lucky winner chosen to saber a bottle of sparkling wine! While enjoying the fruits of his labor, we enjoyed a small appetizer plate of very creative and unique items from their menu.. including a fois gras! Next stop was Hy's Steakhouse, we had the ahi tuna and teriyaki steak. Both were great. Along the way to the main course, we stopped for a ‘mystery stop’… at a chocolate shop where we each got a fancy truffle! Yum! Main course was a veal scaloppini at Quattro. It was a beautiful Italian restaurant. Their side pasta was delish and definitely a memorable one! Last stop was a Rick’s Mix where we had a delicious piece of cheesecake with a berry compote. All courses were paired with excellent wines as well, including a dessert wine!
Our guide, Audriana was excellent! She was very friendly, fun, and insightful. Best of all.. she was able to score us free invites to a wine tasting that was going on for “Industry” people at the Bearfoot Bistro! That was a great unexpected bonus.
The poker themed night made for great entertainment and we even won a fun prize at the end of the night! Book with them on your next trip to Whistler, you won’t be disappointed!
