Park Avenue Bar & Grill

i saw the closing coming,this place has been going down the drain for some time. it's sad,because there was nothing like this place anywhere near. you'd have to go down the road to Hoboken,or cross the trickle into NYC to find anything comparable. btw- i'm just commenting on the locale[nice fancy place],not the food or service.

Been here several times now for dinner. The food is totally top notch, every dish has been great. The kind of menu and food that you would expect across the river in NYC. Service was very friendly and helpful. Little problem with the thermostat though.....temp alternated between very cold and something close to a sauna.

What a cool dining room with hard wood floors. But the food is mediocre at best. Really just 2.5 but I am being generous and rounding it up. Not sure if this is an Italian restaurant. Many dishes on the menu suggest this. But then the bread comes out and it is white bread carved into slices.

Then the lamb chop was just ok. My gf had the lobster ravioli and was not impressed. No taste of lobster but plenty of the cream sauce to flavor.
To top it off, they had no coffee

This is a great local bar! The cocktails are great and the food is yummy. I have girlfriends coming from out of town in a couple weeks and I am bringing them here since there is such a nice variety to the menu and I trust it will be a great time. Weehawken needs more great restaurant/bars like this.

Very disappointed experience for our first visit. They were not aware of the reservation I had made with Open Table; that should have been the first clue to less than good experience. No table was available in the dining room so we sat in the bar area. Noisy with lots if young folks watching football games but we dealt with that. Lovely young waitress bought a cup if coffee with lipstick on the cup...ugh. Another bad sign. We ordered and my burger arrived; after 15 minutes, my friends food arrived...I was just about finished with my food. A couple of apologies but not even an offer for a gratis drink, dessert, or how about not charging us for something. Too many young and inexperienced servers and on hand management people. May be fine for young folks just there for drinks and football..but definitely not recommended for a nice lunch experience. May try for dinner sometime and will hope for a better review.

If you're going to say you have delivery have a phone number that isn't a damn machine. I kept calling to see if maybe yelp got the "delivery" service wrong. But no option on your stupid # options resulted in a human being....you're a damn bar for god sake.....not a large financial institution. I wanted to place a large delivery order because I've actually been to your bar a few
Times before and the foods actually decent. You're tvs blow but it's actually a nice bar in this neighborhood. But you can be sure I'll never come in again. Or try and attempt to order anything since the "number" provided is bullshit unless you're a fuqin cyborg. "Please press 1 for reservations."Please press 2 if this place fuckin sucks cock!

Came on a Saturday afternoon for college football. Service was very accommodating and food pretty good. (buffalo burger with sweet potato fries) Definitely one of the better places to hang in the area.

This is our go-to place for dinners and drinks.

The food is great and the service is awesome. We love stopping over on Sundays during football season for drinks and good food.

I think they've recently re-opened the roof for Friday and Saturday nights.

Definitely check this place out if you're ever nearby!

Incredible ambiance. Service was fantastic. Great place for a date night. And lot's of room for throwing a party. Highly recommend!

Great friendly service at the Bar. Also was there for a birthday party and the food was fabby. Definitely going back!
