Perfectly baked cookies! Lightly crispy on the edges, soft and chewy inside. Delish!!
Located in Pioneer Square - multiple size options to choose from, all with the "cow" theme for names.
We shared the giant Bull Chip sized cookie. I think it was about $8. A bit pricey but definitely yummy!
There are a handful of tables and a few high-stool seats to eat at if you'd like to indulge right there.
Happy eating!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 29, 2018
We just wanted a light bite before starting our underground tour in Pioneer Square and found that Cow Chip was literally down the street. The location is very small and isn't the ideal spot for hanging out. There are 3 small tables and a tiny counter.
While I didn't find there to be a ton of options for flavors, there is a ton of variety in terms of cookie size. They have anywhere from mini bite sized cookies to huge cookies that are the size of your face. What mind-boggled me was how expensive these cookies are! Back in LA, we have a place called Diddy Riese Cookies where one cookie is 50 cents! I was astonished to find out that one regular sized cookie is almost $2 here!!
I just got one chocolate chip cookie (cow chip) and I really enjoyed it. It was soft and doughy! You can tell it was freshly made and it's interesting how they make cookies in all different sizes. I couldn't justify paying so much for multiple cookies so I just got one and I'm glad I did (for my weight's sake)!
Cow Chip offers up some delicious cookies. I just don't know if it's worth that much.Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 16Oh no 0 - Nov 6, 2017
(No relation to an actual cow chip) So glad these are cookies! Small little cookie shop in Pioneer Square, came by after lunch to grab a cookie for later because you know when 230pm hits, you need a cookie!
I decided to just get a regular/standard size cow chip cookie, it was really good! Freshly made, slightly warm, melty, soft, and should've gotten a few more. Who are we kidding, you know I ate half of it while walking back to work.
They do have some other varieties to choose from like peanut butter, snickerdoodle, ones with m&m's, ones with nuts, big sized, regular sized, and bite size. Whichever one you choose, I'm quite sure it will be tasty!
Prices vary depending on which one you choose, so just handle your business. Man behind the counter was helpful and friendly. Overall, definitely a good cookie spot to come check out when you in the area. Just the smell of the place will draw you in, so just submit to it and get a cookie!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 2019
Ok. I'm pretty much obsessed with cookies. And The chocolate chip cookie here, is bomb. But, I ordered an assortment of cookies from here and I couldn't help but feel like they use a LOT of preservatives to keep the cookies so moist. They just didn't taste homemade to me. Also, the chocolate chocolate chip cookie has a TON of almond or Amaretto flavoring that completely overpowered the cookie. It was so strange. Not a fan of that flavor at all. I might eat the basic Choco chip from here again, but that's all.

Best cookies in Seattle! Always fresh. They have a few different options (different sizes and a variety of flavors), but my favorite is the chocolate chip/cow chip. Some of the reviews complained about the price, but you get way you pay for. Make sure you get there early to get the best selection, they often sell out of certain flavors towards the end of the day.

Great treat when you're walking around all day. The cookies are soft fresh and yummy. I had the nutty cow chip and my kids had the regular cow chip (chocolate chip). I could have eaten much much more, but I was a good boy. I love to support local businesses that do things right. Try cow chip out, you won't regret it! And heck, who doesn't love cookies!!!???

We happened to come across this place as we were on our way to the underground tour. I smelled fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and it stopped me in my tracks. There the little store was...Cow Chips. These cookies are fresh and taste amazing!! Now where's the milk???

When one has parking karma in Pioneer Square, it's worth pulling over for.
So tasty and nostalgic, the Homie (despite other food stops already in Georgetown and SoDo) had to get a giant Bull Chip cookie for $7.
We chomped on that as we drove past Pike Place Market, downtown, Belltown towards Ballard pointing out Seattle landmarks that have closed or soon to close. Definitely I've created another urban cookie monster!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Audrey L.Lawrence, KS30120242Jun 14, 2018
After an exhausting day in downtown, pioneer square is a great place to actually breathe and sit down. Cow Chip Cookies saved my pregnant butt!!
Spent less than $5 to get a big bottle of really good 2% milk and a pack of precious morsels. Seriously maybe the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had and they weren't even warm! We got to sit in actually comfortable chairs and just relax without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Staff was super duper friendly and just as welcoming as the whole store environment. Cow Chip was our refuge!!!
And who doesn't love free stickers?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - M H.Sunnyside, NY317Jun 19, 2019
"Lembas Bread"
Two days earlier I'd found myself wandering down Pioneer Square with that late-morning elevenses craving. The kind of elevenses craving where you know that a sandwich alone will not be enough. Nope, today you're going to need something special. And what is more special than a soft morning cookie?
So I popped in to Cow Chip Cookies to see what they could do for me. They've got a fairly small selection: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal, Gluten Free and Sugar Cookies. I tried the Gluten Free (3/5*) and the Chocolate Chip (3/5*). They were both SUPER sweet. I ate about two bites of my chocolate chip and left the rest on my desk. It would be awesome if they had some dark chocolate cookies, or any cookie options that didn't have you consoling your tired pancreas. "It's ok buddy... you can do this... believe in yourself..."
My cookie made a decent snack the next day too. Another two bites. Day three and I'm still snacking on it. Call me depraved but I can't bring myself to throw out this cookie. Are these cookies good enough for someone like me to eat 3 days later? Sure. Are you gonna be happy about it? Definitely not.
As I was reaching into this bag to grab another bite, I found myself wondering... What was the name of that food that Frodo and Sam were surviving on?
Oh right... Lembas BreadHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
