THIS IS IN REGARDS TO BOTOX TRAINING ONLY!!! (NOT FOR WORK PERFORMED BY DR. ASSASSA)
Very expensive 3k; I did not feel supported to be successful & floundered during the 1 day class which spent a lot of time on lunch & 'graduation ceremony' at least 2 hrs were spent doing those activities! I would have preferred that extra time had been spent teaching as I was not happy at the end of class but was reassured that after finishing the didactic part of course, I would be all set & all my questions answered..they were not. I accept partial blame for not being able to complete the very long (20 hrs.??) prior to my training date but you are not able to get refund or re-schedule too soon to date. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! there are better schools that care more about you!! and cheaper too!

I have found Dr. Assassa to be an honest, kind and extremely intelligent man. His artistry does not include feeding into people's ego. He cares about what he does and I have seen and experienced amazing results. I would recommend Dr. Assassa hands down over many many Doctors I have known over my lifetime. Excellent care, excellent staff and excellent results 10+!

Mar C.Los Angeles, CA7416528Mar 8, 2011I've been going to Dr. Assassa's office for years. I initially signed up for laser hair removal, and it was the best money I've ever spent. Not only was the treatment incredibly successful, but it has lasted over the years. Sure, there was a little bit of pain involved, but people who go looking for the quick, easy and painless fix are just setting themselves up for disappointment. Suck it up a little & you won't regret it!
Since then, I've gone back for Botox and some fillers. I've never been disappointed with the results or the way I'm treated when I'm there. Dr. Assassa's staff is the friendliest group of girls I've met at any doctor's office. They make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe. If there's ever a time I don't feel comfortable discussing something private with the Doctor, I know I can confide in any of the girls. They are so hard working, patient and so helpful no matter what it is that I need.
Before I finish up, I would like to mention that Dr. Assassa's is one of the most honest doctors out there. There have been times when I've asked him to perform certain procedures, and he was honest enough to tell me that I didn't need them. He's not out there to squeeze your life savings out of you. He just wants you to be happy with your results. This is especially refreshing because I've met doctors who will tell you everything you wanna hear just so they can get more money out of you. I've had some print me a list of things to do to me when all I've asked for was botox! I don't trust them, and neither should you.

I went to Beverly Hills Aesthetics on august for a smart lipo on my abs. After the consultation I had the treatment. The doctor said that I had to wait for 3 week before I could see the result because my body was really swollen. After 4 month I can clearly say that the shape of my abdomen looks so weird and the little amount of fat is still there.
THE TREATMENT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.
I went there along with a friend, she had the same treatment on her leg and on her as well IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL!!!

Since Dr. Ass was not willing to refund any of the money for the Celluraze treatment that I did with him that I had no results from nor offer to give me additional or alternate treatments, I decided to take him to small claims court. Since I signed a consent form which I was told was required, I lost my case as the consent form states that you understand that there is no guarantee. They tell you that you will see results, that its a revolutionary procedure and talk with these words making you feel like the procedure will work and then before you pay they make you sign these "required" forms. "No big deal, just legal required forms they say" but these forms take away all of your rights to sue him or get your money back.
Doctors should want to make you better, that is what Doctors are for right??...to make us better! If you come to them to treat a problem and the treatment they give you does not work, the Dr. should recommend alternate treatments to fix the problem that you came to him/her for. Dr. Assassa did nothing to try to fix the problem he just said "sue me! I have been to court many times and have never lost a case" were his exact words to me. What does it say about you as a doctor that has been to court many times before??? He said it as though he was proud of this fact! This Doctor should not be allowed to practice. Please read all of the other unsatisfied patents of this Doctor and make your choice wisely. I wish I would have researched him 1st. an update: The judge dismissed the case !!!!
This proves again that the reviewer has malicious intentions to bad mouth our practice reputation for no legitimate reason or good cause. I came to Dr. Assassa on Aug 9th, 2010 after receiving a coupon from his office in the mail for a discount on services at his location. In my initial consultation with Dr. Assassa I told him I was interested in Smart Lipo to get rid of the cellulite on my thighs and buttocks. He looked me over and told me that I did not need Smart Lipo and that I should get a treatment called Celluraze. He told me that Celluraze is a new technology here in the USA and that it is the best thing to get rid of cellulite on the market and it has been used for years in Europe. He said that they were the only office that offers this revolutionary new procedure. He told me that after 6 treatments my cellulite would be gone and I would have smooth skin. Dr. Assassa spent all of maybe 10 minutes talking with me and the quickly passed me on to Diana Jarrar, who I later learned was just an office assistant with no medial background. My fiancé, was with me at the consultation and he and I went into a room with Diana Jarrar to discuss the details of the procedure and pricing in more detail. Diana went explained the details on how the procedure works even saying that it compliantly got rid of her cellulite. She said that we had similar body types and that if I did Celluraze, my cellulite would be gone. Diana told me that she couldn't guarantee anything but that I would definitely see a 90% or better improvement to my cellulite after the 6 treatments. Convinced by Diana and Dr. Assassa that this was the right choice I paid $1,500 for 6 Celluraze treatments. After 3 treatments, I still had not seen results. Concerned, I asked the nurse that did the procedure if this was normal. She told me not to worry and that I would not see the full results until 3 months after my last treatment. My last treatment was on September 13, 2010, 3 months after being January 13th and still I had not even a 1% improvement to my cellulite. I set an appointment to speak with the doctor on January 24th, 2010 to express my concerns. When I came into the office that day I saw that the procedure that I paid $1,500 for was now being offered at less than half the price of only $750. I told Dr. Assassa that the procedure did not work and that it was also very painful. I told him that I felt that I had been lied to and asked him if he would refund me my money for the procedures. Dr. Assassa said in a very arrogant tone, I do not guarantee anything, it looks like you have had improvement and maybe your expectations are too high. He then went on to call his secretary into the room. He told me that she remembered me from a few years back and that I had gone to her tanning salon and complained there as well. He said that this showed him that I have a pattern of complaining. I told him that it was absolutely absurd that he would bring my business dealings at a tanning salon year's prior with his secretary into the conversation about the Celluraze treatments not working. I again asked for a full refund for the Celluraze and he again declined stating that I could take him to court but that I would never win. He then told me that he was going to refund me for the additional 2 treatments of laser hair removal that I paid for on the same day that I purchased the Celluraze because my expectations are too high and he did not want me complaining about that too. Before leaving the office, I asked for copies of my medical records only to be told that I had to pay a $30 fee to them to get copies. I did not have the $30 on me and have yet to receive copies of my medical records. I am now in the process of taking Dr Assassa to small claims court. And I have filed a formal complaint with the Medical Board of California. Read the other complaints on this and other sites. I wish I would have read them before going. I would have saved myself a lot of time, pain and money. I guess the coupon in the mail should have been my warning. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I moved to booking an appt but upon returning home I learned that my "discounted price" (by about half) was $800 more than what their website was advertising. I also noted the mysterious equipment fee or supply fee as they called it ($500) was against their own advertised policy. As it clearly stated they do not charge any thing extra (and they list everyone of the items included). When I called back to cancel, I was immediately offered a lower price but I could never trust my body to an office that operates like a used car dealer at best. I canceled needless to say. Very disappointing.

honestly i've been lil weary of writing this since *they watch this site* they even made up FLYERS that say "Give Us a Good Review on Yelp and Google reviews!" & actually hand them to you & TELL you to on your way out! Seriously! very unorganic & really says alot i think now looking back (though they didn't do that until my last followup visit here about a 18 mo. ago).

i had "Smart"Lipo *TWICE* because 1st time didn't make a huge difference. but guess what? the 2nd time it didn't either & it HURT LIKE A M*THERF*CKER! 2X and counting: apparently i'm allowed to go back for more free surgeries until i'm happy w/ it which is nice on paper but judging on his attitude while having to do it over and the WAY HE DUG IN THERE differently than the 1st time *HARDER* w/ more ~blood coming out~ and hardly any fat, i swear he seemed MAD AT MY SKIN! and just wanted to do it EXTRA HARD so that he wouldn't have to do it/see me ever again.
accordingly even though i suppose i could go back A 3RD TIME and 4th, etc. (again- the girl said 'for the rest of your life' & again looking back- not a great vote of confidence!) but since he hasn't got it right 2 times & the 2nd time was so much worse than the 1st it's like

oh & i have SCARS + instead of enough of the fat i now have hard, hard to get rid of *SCAR TISSUE* in there! granted i am a slow healer and scar easy but still sucks! that reminds me- when i said that him and his lady friend (from the mother county!) YELLED AT ME cuz i didn't "massage". (no joke i honestly heard them say that but because of their ACCENT i couldn't understand half of what they were saying & thought they said 'message'!)
anyway, like i said i don't think i'll be back but i'm sure after writing this i probably wouldn't be welcome anyway since the phony-but-nice girls probably have to report this to Dr. A. even if not though- like i said unless i want more BLOOD TAKEN *i'm over it*! i'm burning my bridges here i guess, but it feels good to let it out! sure he's an ok guy, but obviously liposuction isn't his strong suit.
~He took my "BEFORE" PICTURES but even w/ the 2nd surgery AND follow ups HE NEVER TOOK MY "AFTER" PICTURES!~
Mercy Star for the small difference *but* it's been 2 years since then and i've lost some weight so it's really hard to know whether it was this or just me. it bothers me every day cuz really i'll never know and i went and popped my plastic cherry here for nothin'. basically i chalk it up to a bad time in my life where i had a buncha cash. like i didn't even check him at all really- just did it. hopefully this helps someone else cuz even if you're rich like i was: it's not worth it.
