Stopped for dinner here last night, it amazed me that no one seemed to listen at the sushi bar and repeated requests for a beer and sushi were slow to come. They ran out of regular rice, however sushi rice was fine, however, I did not feel I should have paid for the bowl of rice when it was obvious that they were low on that rice as well and was not my preferred rice. The rice on the tuna sushi was sooo little is why I ordered rice in the first place. The chef was very slow, then when I ordered yellowtail sushi it was so bad that upon taking the first bite it dissolved in my mouth, mush-like, which literally made me want to vomit. At this point I decided to leave as the service and quality did not meet minimal standards. I was disappointed as I have been here before about 6 months ago or so, and did not have this horrible experience.

Disappointed... The food was pricey. Sushi rice was hot in the sushi! The salmon skins were burnt, can't even eat it. Service was good but the sushi was not acceptable. Won't return again

Call me old school, but you do not charge for a bowl of rice at a Japanese restaurant - ever. Overcooked teriyaki salmon. Unrecognizable age-dashi tofu. Tempura sauce that was, well not tempura sauce. My wife's salmon skin salad came 15 minutes after everyone else was served. The best dish at our table was the beef bulgogi (spoiler alert - that is a Korean dish), so that tells you what you need to know about this place.

Great sushi, terrible service. When we arrived there were only 4 other people in the place. Nonetheless, our water took 10 min to arrive. Ordering took another 7-10 minutes, and the saga continued. We were there for more than 25 minutes without any food. Our appetizers arrived after our main course by 15 minutes. I nicely (really!) pointed this out and got a half-hearted "sorry." The waitress then asked if we still wanted it. When I said no, she informed me she'd box it up for me. I wanted it gone and off my bill! The manager (owner?) woman noticed the terrible time we were having and scolded the waitress, but we were offered no apology, discount, etc. after over 90 minutes for a few rolls and cut sushi we left angry and frustrated. Won't go back.

I never write reviews but this place was so awful I had too. We went on Saturday night & we were the only people there & I now know why. After reading the yelp reviews I decided to try this place. We got the emperor roll, crunch roll & some sashimi & the fish, lobster, scallops were very very fishy, not good quality & just gross. I told the manager & she didn't care, just gave us our bill. I would never come back!!!

edamame was microwaved and cold in some places, servers were confused, sushi taste cheap, ambience was creepy. Will not be returning

I used to come here all the time when Toshi owned it I was looking forward to it again. When I walked it there was a new owner...I had the Benz roll used to be my favorite :( not so good this time asparagus tasted horrible I also ordered some of the rolls and they are all the same on the inside very very cold California roll with just different toppings. I was so horrified I had raved about it to my boyfriend a million times. He couldn't even it the sushi it was almost frozen and not very fresh I will not be going back there again.

I had a hair in my water. The rice was hard as if just microwaved. The chicken katsu was wet, damp, not crispy- also as if microwaved. I will not be going back again.

In all fairness to a local business my previous review was a little harsh although that s how I felt when I wrote it. I will try them again. We all have our bad days

This place is horrible, very unhygienic... I saw the Sushi bar chef shaking hands with a sick person and decides to make sushi without washing his hands... When fronted by it, the sushi chef was irritated that he had to wash his hands and just rinse Without soap... The service was just as bad and no apologies for such an event... Bad establishment and not deserving of even 1 star
