Florida Panthers ended the hockey season winning only one game in the Stanley Cup Finals. All we have to remember is June 8, 2023.
It's been 30 years and I'm disappointed. I'm not going to give up hope that they will win the cup in my lifetime. At least in my daughters lifetime! She's a bigger fan than I am.
So hockey season has ended and I'm moving on! There's always next season to look forward to.Helpful 23Thanks 4Love this 33Oh no 1Apr 1, 2018Previous reviewIf they never win again it doesn't change a thing. They won my heart in 1993 the year of their birth. You see I have always been the girl with all boy family playing sports hard. The girls that came after me played hockey. I grew up in the south so golf was my game among other outdoor sports.
When we heard we were having a hockey team in South Florida I went wild. I couldn't wait to take my daughter. Then a life changing event occurred. The unexpected death of my Mother in 1993. Going to the Panthers Games and following the players was a diversion from the pain. It is a special feeling to be a fan of a sports team from their birth. I love many other hockey teams but the Panthers hold a special place in my heart. It will be 25 years this year. Thanks to the Panthers for all the happy memories. It was so much fun taking my daughter to the games.
Yes I'd like to live long enough to see them win the Stanley Cup. Most of all I'm just thankful for the bond their existence helped me create with family!
Think what you like about their hockey ability. They have heart. They have mine. The Florida Panthers are Noble Cats! - Tee D.Hollywood, FL335526Mar 28, 2024
Season ticket owner for nearly 15 years. This is my last season as I've had enough of this franchise company... I'll give them kudos for turning this team into a product but as they did that, they cared less and less about the fans. I've had several reps that clearly didn't care and was doing it only as a stepping stone to the next part of their desired career. There was ZERO customer care and one rep blamed his manager.
I won't go on a detailed rant but they continue to take away benefits of being a season ticket owners while continue to take from them financially. From parking costs to the continue rise in food and beverage prices while they continue to raise prices for tickets. Simply, they're cheap and greedy... what these corporate front office executives forget is that this is South Florida, look at any team that becomes mediocre down here, stadiums are half empty if that...
I'm done, but I know they'll call me when seats can't be sold once again... and I'll still be done... to them, I went from a loyal fan with season tickets to a replaceable wallet with season tickets...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 3, 2023
Sitting here and we are waiting for the game to start. I brought my heated jacket just in case. Who will win tonight? We snagged $10 tickets as this is a watch party. I think we are going to have a full house and that is great because our tickets go to a good cause. Max got a beer and I got a Cabernet. Our daughter may not be too happy. She doesn't like loud sounds. Boy, is she in trouble. I am sure it takes a massive effort to keep this place clean. The bathrooms are very clean.

What a fun game! We stopped here to see the Islanders play on our way down to the Keys, and it was great to see all of the fans from New York. We like to see hockey in different cities, and FLA puts on a good game. It looks like there are not any bad seats here. Parking is a little confusing if you are from out of town, but we figured it out by the time we left. We enjoyed some drinks at the tequila bar while we waited for the exiting traffic to leave. Every arena should do that.

If you're into hockey then this should be your second home for the season! The team is playing absolutely amazing and the FLA Live arena has all the amenities to make your experience second to none. I would recommend getting club level seats at least once which are not expensive at all so you can get access to the nicest bars and carving stations the stadium has to offer.

My Yelp rating for the Florida Panthers is based purely on the team's performance. When you hover over the star ratings on Yelp, one star = "Not good." That's how the Panthers have performed since their founding in 1993: Not good.
To put it in perspective, at the time of writing this review, out of the 31 active teams in the NHL, the Panthers:
* Rank in the bottom third of all teams in points percentage.
* Have only six playoff appearances in 27 seasons. No team has the same or less playoff appearances in as many or more seasons.
* Have won zero Stanley Cup Finals.
* Have won zero playoff series outside the year they advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Unfortunately, in Florida's only Stanley Cup Finals appearance (1996), the team got swept, 4-0, by the Colorado Avalanche. Game 2 was particularly dreadful as the Avs won in utterly dominating fashion, 8-1. Three Colorado players scored at least twice in that game.
The only player to have his number retired by the team is goalie Roberto Luongo (No. 1). He had two stints in Florida: 2000-2006 and 2014-2019. As a Panther, Luongo made the NHL Second All-Star Team (2004) and was selected to the NHL All-Star Game three times (2004, 2015, 2016). In addition, he holds team records such as most shutouts in a season (7 in 2003-04) and most games played (318) and he holds the NHL record for most regular season overtime wins (49).
The Panthers have played at BB&T Center since the arena opened in 1998 (then known as the National Car Rental Center). For hockey, it has a seating capacity of 19,250. For general parking, enter Gates 1, 2, 3, and 7. For garage and Lexus Premier parking, enter Gates 1, 5, and 6. For Club Lexus parking, enter Gate 2. Refer to this parking map: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/florida-panthers-sunrise?select=mmpgxJ1u1qtDJeTU84HzGg.
BB&T Center is located in Sunrise, part of the Miami metro area. It takes about 35-55 minutes to drive from Miami to Sunrise depending on traffic.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0 - 1915711738Dec 15, 2021

Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a Customer Service representative. Because I have "no purchase history" with the Florida Panthers the club WILL NOT sell a season ticket package to me without my coming in for a tour of the arena.
As a multiyear season ticket holder with other NHL organizations I fail to see what makes Panthers seats any different that any other arena in the league.
When I told the representative I refused to tour the arena before GIVING YOU MY MONEY his response was "Ok, no worries" ... Fantastic customer service. It truly shows how much the organization cares about its fans.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael M.Delray Beach, FL1148Apr 22, 2023
Awesome place to see a NHL game! Reasonable prices and great facility. It's very cost effective for visiting team access. DYK you can "tailgate" at NHL games? You can here. It's very cool inside so dress appropriately. The entire staff was very helpful too.

I'm from out of town and have been visiting this arena for years. But I think it's time to say goodbye. It's located in an area that is hard to get to your forced to drive their and then your hit with a 35$ parking bill. The concession stands have gotten expensive and the tickets are not a great deal anymore.
And for an organization that can't sell out a game. It says alotHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
