Dolce Gelato

During our recent vacation to Laguna Beach, we stumbled upon an ice cream shop with a stellar 4.7 Google rating and decided to check it out on a bustling Friday night.

Despite the challenge of finding parking in the crowded area, our ice cream experience exceeded all expectations. Each flavor, like my Ferrero Rocher gelato, was a revelation, perfectly capturing its description with creamy hazelnut goodness and rich chocolate. The peanut butter chip was equally impressive, with just the right balance of creaminess and sweetness.

The warm and inviting ambience of the shop, with its cozy raised tables, made our treat even more enjoyable. Moreover, the clerks were patient, attentive, and very kind, despite the store being super busy; they never made us feel rushed. What's more, it wasn't expensive, adding to the overall positive experience. Hands down, this is the best gelato we've ever had, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Best kept local semi-secret! Flavors and crafting are out of this world. I love coming in to see what flavors the owner has created she is incredible! I believe her name is Lindsey? Pretty sure that would be the same person from before? In love with the flavors always a pleasure. Always unique and I love the names that they've attributed. You can see a lot of The local names on some of the flavors!

Small business, delicious and might go to every time we're in Laguna Beach. I will not gate-keep them any longer. Here you go Yelp! Make me proud but don't make me wait in line. :)) Management/owners you need to secret shop your place or have a friend to see about the staff experience.

Absolutely amazing gelato! Whenever my family goes down to Laguna, we stop in and see what new fun flavors they have in store. Personal favorite is the Ferrero. Staff is always super nice, and the smaller size of the store makes it feel like a special hole-in-the-wall spot.

I've been here a few times- and don't even live in Laguna - It's that good! They have so many gluten free options, and surprisingly that's not common in every ice cream (or gelato) shop! They get crazy busy but still always have great and friendly service.

We arrived just a little bit before closing, and yet the staff was welcoming by beckoning us in. We ordered a small (left) and kids size (right) in the pistachio flavor coming out to just a little over $10. Considering how much they stack into each cup, I'd say that's a fair price for a decent taste. I barely finished my kids size, so I'd say it's quite filling.

The other nearby gelato shop (Gelato Paradiso) usually has a very long line depending on when you make your visit and this place is a solid alternative when you don't want to wait in the former's long lines.

While the pistachio wasn't my favorite, I'm looking forward to trying other flavors the next time I come!

Was our 2nd time here because the 1st obviously called for a 2nd.

I love how they offer vegan options for lactose intolerant individuals like myself.

You can pick up to 4 flavors total for the large option. ALL the vegan flavors are delicious - and I've had a taste of the non-vegan flavors and they too were delicious.

Service is friendly and the ambiance is just fun! Takes you back to being young again! Haha.

If you're ever in town and in need of something sweet, come by and stop at this little cute gelato place.

I love this gelato place! They're always so kind and quick with their service, and they always have a ton of great flavors to pick from. They're very popular, so expect a small wait on the weekends (especially after dinner time).
My favorite thing about this place besides the delicious gelato is their ever-changing hand-drawn flavor signs. They are always so pretty and fun! Props to whoever does these, because they're really talented and creative!
I highly recommend stopping by to try out their gelato or at least just to see their unique signage in person.

such a cute lil place! so many options that all looked sooooo yummy it was hard to pick! even tho it's small there's plenty of room to stop and eat! the woman behind the counter was very friendly and patient, but super fast! apple pay & card friendly as well :) great experience !

This was definitely up there with some of the best gelato I've had.

I thought the "theme of the month" was a bit cheesy and was like how good could this be if they're playing around with flavor names. But damn was I wrong.

Theme of the month was star wars and two of the flavors I got were star wars flavored. I don't remember the exact flavors but one was basically the darkest chocolate gelato I've had and it was incredibly delicious; super creamy, smooth, and rich; it was onyx cocoa and chai spice. This was my absolute favorite. I would get this every day if I could.
Next best was a whiskey caramel combination which was also really good. Slightly sweeter, but not overly sweet by any means.

Overall, the flavor combinations were amazing and the serving size was great.
Would return in a heartbeat.

I really love that they do monthly themes on flavors as it adds a bit of fun! but I'm not used to having pieces of ice in my gelato. The sorbets were too icy/non-creamy. I had to take a picture of the ice that collected over the gelato
