Excellent BBQ. The smokers run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plan on coming on one of those days for some great Ribs. The ribs are finished so they need a slight tug off the bone. The rub and BBQ sauce are heavy on black pepper. That is the one complaint I have heard.
The guys here have won numerous BBQ competitions and complete thoughout the US.
It is a little pricey for the average lunch in the area, but the quality completely justifies the cost. I have gone during the week for a solid italian sub.
Highly recommended.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica B.Wilmington, DE2312957Jul 11, 2011
This place is the real deal. They have a standard menu through the week. The only thing I've tried from the 7 day menu is the pizza, which was good but not amazing. The various cheesesteaks have serious potential. The main reason we go is for the BBQ on the weekends. The ribs are simply amazing. My husband now refuses to ever attempt ribs again- they are that good! The baked beans and the collard greens both fall in the "best I've had" category. The beans are smokey and not too sweet. We fight over the last scoop. Collards aren't too bitter and have nice chunks of meat in them. Cole slaw is decent. Mac & Cheese is seriously greasy. I'd skip it and try something else. I've also tried the brisket, which is tasty and comes served on a kaiser bun with some really amazing BBQ sauce.
Just found out that they deliver in a small radius. You definitely need to get out there!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rev. Robert D.Rehoboth Beach, DE120183245May 2, 2010

Great place! Owner let us sample before we made our BBQ decision. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had, great find, can't wait to go back! Friendly staff, whole nine yards

I am a huge fan of both BBQ and Pizza, so every chance I get to try them together I do... this place is home to the BEST BBQ Pizza I have ever tried. I have heard the other menu options are great too, but I never once had the desire to try anything else for fear that I wouldn't like it as much as the pizza.

Absolutely the best BBQ in Delaware...no contest. In particular, I am a fan of the pulled pork sandwiches (which are available every day). The ribs are absolutely cooked perfectly..a big improvement over the fall off the bone mess you get at most chain restaurants. The sauce isn't my favorite (not as much spice as I would like) but is still very good.
I do have two tips: This is really a take out place (there is very limited seating) and if you want ribs (which is only sold on Friday and Saturday) I highly suggest you call first because he frequently runs out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Larry M.West Chester, PA124996Mar 27, 2011
The BBQ in this place is excellent, I will be starting a BBQ place soon and talked to the BBQ guy Dan about it and he was very helpful in giving me advice on anything I wanted to know. Try everything here it is that good.

Definitely like this place. The pizza is quite good, the cheesesteaks are even better. Actually, this place probably has the best cheesesteaks in Delaware. The BBQ is good, but a bit overpriced for the amount they give. I pretty much stick with the pizza and steaks. :)
