KiKi Tap & Eatery Grand Opening Tonight

The Space Formerly Known as Kurrent has turned its backwards "K" around and opens tonight as KiKi Tap & Eatery on Capitol Hill. The self-proclaimed Asian-fusion spot offers 16 beers on tap, wine, spicy margaritas and small plates that emphasize both Vietnamese and American fare.

The five partners include the guys behind the dearly departed Vietnamese joint Green Papaya in that same space at Belmont and Pine. Unlike Kurrent, which was a little, um, Kold, the space has ditched the high-gloss look for a more rustic vibe.

KiKi opens today at 3 p.m. From now through April 10, patrons get 25 percent off their dinner tab by printing out the coupon on KiKi's Facebook page.
