Although we offer a variety of class levels, students are always encouraged to attend any class time and level that best fits into your schedule.

Intro Series - Introduction to Baptiste Power Vinyasa

Intro Series is a comprehensive 8-class series designed for yoga beginners and/or students new to Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga. Each class builds progressively as students learn the healthy alignment and form of 55 postures in the 11 series Baptiste Journey Into Power sequence. This workshop-style class incorporates demonstration and ways to adapt each posture, brief discussion, physical practice, hands-on adjustments, and clear alignment-based cueing to provide a solid foundation for new students to feel supported, confident, and empowered. You will also learn fundamental, accessible yoga philosophy and breathing techniques that will inspire you on and off your mat. Intro Series is taught by an experienced Shakti Instructor and often there are 1-2 trained teaching assistants who provide additional assisting support. The Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga practice supports you to increase your vitality, physical power & freedom to access accelerated results in your overall body strength and confidence.

 

Intro Series is an 8-class series that takes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Generally, this class is repeated each month and it is common for new students to take it several times. Preregistration is strongly suggested, but day-of registration is accepted if there is space. Late registration is not permitted, students must begin the series by Class 2 or wait for the next series to begin.

 

Level 1 - Foundations of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga

Level 1 is designed for students who have some, but limited yoga experience, and who are seeking a slower-paced, alignment-focused, vinyasa class focusing on basic, fundamentals of each posture. Instructors cue the modifications for each posture within the sequence and focus on steady breath and healthy alignment throughout the practice. Classes may include a short posture clinic to breakdown simple steps to learn more challenging postures like Crow, Side Plank, and Wheel. Level 1 is an excellent next step after taking the Intro Series while being accessible and appropriate for beginners and all level of students.

All Levels - Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga

Accessible for all levels of practitioners that support you in building physical and mental strength while challenging you to grow and expand your practice within the Baptiste Journey into Power sequence. Teachers offer some modifications and variations for postures while maintaining a steady, flowing pace with some deep posture holds. Each class will help you increase strength, vitality, stability, flexibility, balance, and body awareness through healthy alignment and movement, and yoga philosophy that leave you empowered and inspired.

 

All Levels - Creative Vinyasa Yoga

Accessible to all levels of practitioners that support students in building physical strength and providing ways to expand your practice. Teachers will offer modifications and variations for postures within a unique, creative vinyasa sequence while teaching at a steady, flowing pace. Each class will focus on building strength, stability, flexibility, balance, and body awareness while maintaining a relaxed and focused mindset. Through the practice, yoga philosophy, and mindfulness techniques, you will leave empowered and inspired.

 

Level 2 - Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga

A powerful and upbeat-paced Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga class geared toward students who have a consistent asana practice. Teachers provide a powerful and high energy Baptiste Journey into Power sequence with a variety of intermediate variations throughout the class. Classes may include a short posture clinic, taking time to breakdown challenging arm balancing or inversion variations providing students the opportunity to deepen and advance their practice.

 

Level 2 - Creative Vinyasa

A flowing, upbeat Vinyasa Yoga class geared toward students who have a consistent asana practice. Teachers provide a powerful and balanced sequence and introduce a variety of creative variations throughout the class. Classes may include a short posture clinic, taking time to breakdown challenging arm balancing or inversion variations providing students the opportunity to deepen and advance their practice.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is accessible to all students and designed to encourage stillness in both the body and mind, increase flexibility, and restore balance. This class will have you on the floor most of the time. It is a deep practice where postures are held for 2-6 minutes. Yin Yoga works the deep connective tissues of the body - the tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and fascia. This practice is especially restorative for the joints and muscles and will open and release areas in need of more flexibility. Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to your Vinyasa practice.

 

Due to the quiet, restorative nature of this class, late arrivals will not be granted studio access. Early arrival is strongly encouraged in order to set up your props in advance. Please allow extra time for parking and registration to ensure you arrive on time. Thank you.

 

Restorative Yin Yoga

Restorative Yin is accessible to all students and is yoga at its coolest, quietest, and stillest moments. This gentler, deeply nurturing style of Yin Yoga is a time for deep relaxation and healing. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props as needed to support you in relaxing into each posture with as little effort as possible. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release while restoring balance to your mind, body, and spirit. This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more flexibility.

Free Community Meditation

Join us for free to begin or strengthen your personal meditation practice. Learn techniques to meditate comfortably and effectively, and gain the guidance and support to begin meditating and stick with it. Each session includes an introduction to a pranayama and breathwork technique and a comprehensive and inspiring guided meditation.
