I read somewhere that long after the cake is eaten and the guests are gone, wedding photos will always remain. So, I spent hours going through websites, looking at galleries, etc to make sure we found the right person, someone who could take traditional wedding pictures with a more modern eye (didn’t want my grandmother’s wedding pictures!). While there are a lot of great photographers out there, once we saw Mike’s galleries, we were hooked. There were two things that we loved about his pictures: first, although he worked with various venues and gorgeous settings, they never took away from the couple themselves and second, Mike has a great eye for lighting and has taken some really stunning pictures.
Working with Mike for our engagement session and wedding day was an absolute pleasure. Basically, Mike did all the work and we just had fun. For our engagement session, we made a couple of suggestions as to places we thought would be nice but when we got there, it was darker than we expected. Although we were willing to move on, Mike figured out what lenses would work best and took some beautiful shots! On our wedding day, Mike and his assistant took plenty of pictures but were absolutely unobtrusive throughout.
We are so happy with the pictures he took and highly recommend him. Although we don’t plan on having another wedding, we’d definitely hire him again for our renewal ceremony…or any other occasion where we’d want beautiful memories.

I had the pleasure to work with Mike and his team at a wedding and to say I was impressed is an understatement. They're so talented and the photos were breathtaking. Which I love because I know that makes our mutual client happy at the end of the day.
