The Yousuf Al-Marzook Athletic Field
Yousuf Al-Marzook Field, dedicated October 15, 1977, is home to the University's soccer and lacrosse programs. The complex, located behind the Sports Center, includes a newly refurbished all-turf field lined for soccer and lacrosse. It also sports permanent grandstands and a new state of the art scoreboard. Al-Marzook Field was renovated as part of the University's Home Field Advantage campaign.
Yousuf Al-Marzook Field was made possible through the generosity of Faisal Al-Marzook, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Arts and Sciences in 1967. At the time of the dedication, the donation was the largest single alumni contribution ever received by the University. The field was dedicated to the memory of Faisal's father. The Yousuf Al-Marzook Athletic Field is dedicated to the encouragement of international peace through academic cooperation and interchange.
