Fantastic.....probably one of the last true "Mom and Pop" ice cream places

Delicious Midwestern ice cream stand fare. I'm sure it was a place just like this that John Cougar was singing about when he sang "suckin on chilidogs outside tastee freeze". They have all that stuff here, the burgers, chilidogs, fries and onion rings. And then the whole panoply of ice cream dishes. From soft serve cones thru super huge banana splits and every sort of variation in between. They also have a sherbet (remember, when you go here, you are in Indiana and the proper pronunciation is sher-burt) on softserve all the time too. The flavor if the sherbet varies day to day. Go ahead then, be like Donna from Parks & Recreation, come in here and treat yourself.

There is almost nothing you can get here that is not excellent. I have not come across anything I do not like. I have been going to Polly's Freeze since I was 5 years old and that was quite some time ago. LOL given that I will be 45 this year. Now days I can not have all of the Goodies that I loved for years, so now I just have a small shake and a HUGE pollyburger and fries!! If you are just traveling through, new to the area or just looking for a wonderful place to go, do yourself a favor and head to Polly's Freeze!! You won't be sorry
