One of the absolute worst nail appointments I've ever had. I walk into the salon early for my appointment and my technician, Arvis, is nowhere to be seen. When she arrives, she tells me she won't have time for my scheduled manicure, only my pedicure. She starts on the manicure for someone who arrived after me causing her to start on my pedicure a half an hour after my appointment time. Polish selection is severely lacking.
I asked for "steaming" hot water for my pedicure and SHE TOLD ME NO. Said I couldn't have hot water "because of the bowls". I highly doubt the manufacturer would design a chair for pedicures where you can't use hot water. Absolutely absurd. Soaking my feet in this frigid water wondering why I'm still here. I am excited and surprised about the liner. Sad to say the highlight of my pedicure is a liner. Very dainty/delicate when filing my nails into the incorrect shape.
TOOLS ARE NOT AUTOCLAVED. HOW UNSANITARY
She unapologetically clipped me with the cuticle trimmers. Another positive: her calm demeanor. Nothing seems to phase her. Callus filing went well. Massage was decent other than her nails scratching/tickling the bottom of my feet. Actually, one of the best massages I've had with a pedicure.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brittany W.Baltimore, MD271181189Aug 11, 2016
Decided to try out a new place to get my nails and feet done that is closer to home. Got a pedicure and manicure done and unfortunately I will not be returning.
I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, my nail technician was Arvis. She was still working on another customer when I arrived so I had to wait a bit. When she started to do my nails she had me soak for a bit, while she had some lunch directly behind me. That wasn't the only thing I found to be unprofessional. During my manicure session she talked bad about a coworker that wasn't sitting to far from us. Didn't appreciate hearing about your work drama, considering this was my first visit with you.
The pedicure was for reflexology, but there wasn't much of that either. In fact my toe polish chipped in a week in a half. I have gotten plenty of pedicures in my life and they last a minimum of a month.
The only reason I didn't give her a lower rating because she did a wonderful job shaping my nails. The best I have seen in a while. Irregardless, that shape work isn't enough to have repeat business from me.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Shelly W.Baltimore, MD35813Apr 28, 2018
Very disappointed. I bought a Groupon for pedicure with reflexology in early April. Called to schedule and was told they are booking out to end of May. What a waste of my money. I've never had to wait over a month for an appointment for a pedicure. Don't waste your money on the Groupon.

Went here once for reflexology pedicure. Interesting atmosphere. The pedicure didn't have really much reflexology to it. Nails looked okay. I got what I paid for since it was through Groupon.

BEWARE of these scam artists. I bought a groupon for $20 and I called to set up an appointment. I was told the next available appointment for my pedicure was not available until late June. I think this should be stated on the Groupon site. The lady who answered the phone was very rude and had the audacity to hang up on me! I am very displeased and pray I get my money back. I recommend you find somewhere else to get a simple PEDICURE because this place is not the one!

A few weeks ago, I booked my appointment for a manicure and pedicure with Arvis. Yesterday, I received a confirmation call from the receptionist. I confirmed. Today, I showed up three minutes early for my appointment, which was scheduled during my lunch break. The receptionist approached Arvis to let her know I had arrived. I heard her say, "I thought she cancelled. I'm going to need 15 more minutes to finish up." The receptionist relayed that message to me. Then he asked if I wanted to wait that long. I explained that I had planned to keep my appointment, but was on my lunch break and had to get back to the office by a certain time. His response, "Do what you have to do." Thanks, Mr. Congeniality. I waited for 25 minutes. Arvis finally looks up and calls to me from the back of the salon..."Tiffany? I'm just going to be another 5 or so minutes." Uh...I can't wait another 5 or so minutes. I'm on my lunch break. Then she asked me if I wanted to reschedule. No.
If you're reading this review, I would highly suggest you schedule an appointment...SOMEWHERE ELSE.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Brenda F.Baltimore, MD0365Jul 25, 2017
Just rude. I asked just to have my gel polish removed. That's it-nothing more. Asked when-I said now. Told only one person working. And they were much too busy. I walked past shop and guess what not a person in shop. ???

I came in because of a $19 living social manure with reflexology. My appointment was late and I wasn't ever offered a beverage - same story for the lady behind me. I know, because the nail station is right next to the door/waiting area.
She used a Suave cocoa butter lotion for what she passed off as reflexology (but was really an ordinary salon rub). I quickly learned that she did not want to feel corrected. She went directly from sawing at my nails with a course grit file to polish application. No nail oil. I had to ask to have my nails filed in one direction so that they were smooth before the polish application. There was less than half an inch of barbicide in the jar so I'm not sure if the tools were clean. Therefore, I didn't complain that she left some hang nails. I touched up my cuticles at home and applied a top coat every few days so the color did last longer than I expected. However, I'm never coming back to this unsanitary place.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laurie R.Pikesville, MD021Apr 17, 2017
Worse place ever. Wanted my roots done and a haircut. I said absolutely ROOTS ONLY and DO NOT LAYER. I came out with entire hair one color - not the one I came in with - and layered cut so that I can no longer wear my hair up. When I complained the owner said it was up to the stylist even though I paid her the money. Stylist said he is best in town -no one questions him and he gave me what I needed.

Bought two groupons for "reflexology pedicure". When I called to make the appointment they said only one person does them so I would go first and my mom would go right after me. Well let me say there was NOOO reflexology done at all and the "massage" was maybe two min max! After I got my pedi done another client came in and the nail tech took her INSTEAD of taking my mom. So we were waiting for an HOUR before she pulled my mom to the side and asked if we wanted a refund instead of giving her the pedi. Hopefully I actually get the refund because she has to call groupon first. It was supposed to be a relaxing spa like pedi but there was nothing relaxing about it, it was so quick. I wouldn't recommend going here. This experience was seriously horrible.
