Cleanings & Prevention: A critical aspect of maintaining a healthy mouth and teeth is to ensure you have regular cleanings, or other preventative treatments that can help ward off gum disease and decay and keep your smile brilliant and fresh. We educate our patients on preventative treatments, and guide them in the use of various products that can help maintain good dental health.

Dental Exams & Cleanings: Our patients come to us every six months, and more frequently in some cases, to keep their teeth and gums healthy. A regular dental exam will reveal any trouble areas so that you get early treatment – which has the benefit of saving more of your natural tooth structure. Our exams screen for oral cancer, tooth decay, and can detect more serious issues before they develop, including tumors, cysts, and bone loss.

Home Care: Caring for your teeth at home, correctly, can help you have a smile that lasts a lifetime. We educate our patients on home care so they gain the most benefit from it. We offer our patients more advanced home care aids that we may advise, based upon your unique condition.

Digital X-Rays: As we practice holistic dentistry, we use digital X-rays rather than film-based X-rays. The level of radiation is far, far lower with a digital system – as well as far more comfortable for the patient. This system is faster, more efficient, and a much healthier option for our patients.

Crowns (Caps): A tooth that has been damaged can be restored with a crown or "cap." These crowns can restore broken or fractured teeth, or a tooth that has had a root canal treatment. The crown must fit perfectly, function like a natural tooth, and match in color so it is indistinguishable from your other teeth. We are proud of our ability to place beautiful crowns, and to restore and protect as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.

Fillings: Small cavities can be treated with a modern system – a "no-drill" procedure. Our "no-drill" fillings are placed with a revolutionary technology that is micro-invasive, and protects more of the natural tooth structure. For larger cavities, we use composite fillings – a type of filling material that is bio-compatible, and will blend perfectly with your natural tooth color.

Inlays & Onlays: Inlays are customized tooth restorations, used to restore teeth damaged by large cavities. Inlays are more conservative than crowns, as more of your natural tooth structure is left in place. Onlays are often called a “partial crown.” Teeth that have a large flaw, either from decay or trauma, can often be restored with an onlay. As with all of our dental treatments, we focus on preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible, and use onlays to repair teeth that need restoration on the chewing surface – without the need to place a crown.

Wisdom Teeth Extractions: Almost all people will need their wisdom teeth removed. This typically occurs in late adolescence or early adulthood. When it is time to have these troublesome teeth extracted, you want to know it will be performed gently and that you won’t suffer pain.

BPA Free Sealants: A dental sealant is a thin, translucent protectant that coats the surface of the teeth, smoothing out the pits and making it easier to maintain good dental hygiene.

Silver Diamine Fluoride For Kids or Elderly: An FDA-approved product, silver diamine fluoride is an antibiotic liquid applied to control active cavities (caries) and halt further decay. It is made of two main components, fluoride and silver. The silver in the product is an effective anti-microbial agent, and has the added benefit of strengthening the natural protective coating of the affected tooth.
