This place was great. We ordered take out and got the following:
Mongolian beef: 10/10 and all I will be ordering moving forward. It was fantastic.
Eggrolls: 6/10, a little too thick and I believe had mushrooms (not a fan in the eggrolls)
Pad Thai: 7/10. We got two orders of this, no spice and spicy. No spice lacked flavor (probably my fault for getting no spice), and the spicy was good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 28, 2024
This is my 1st time at their new restaurant since the last one burned down.
Food is always delicious. Space is much more modern and spacious. Service is quick and friendly.
Brought my friend who's never had Thai or Laos food and now she's a fan!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ana W.Modesto, CA01315Apr 17, 2024
I used to love this place when it was on Hatch called Sabaidee. They definitely fell off as far as flavor. I've had it 3 times that I wasn't impressed and I probably won't be going back for a while. Unfortunately I'd say it's overhyped by people that aren't of Thai/Lao decent. Nothing against them but they don't know what the dishes are supposed to be and it's different flavor to them that's why they like it. I heard at the temple that it's a different chef from years ago when we all went (literally like 10 years ago) but I'm not sure on accuracy. Anyways, I hope they do better at representing our culture.

I've been waiting patiently for the new location to open. I'm not sure when it did finally open, but it was worth the wait. New location is nice! Food was A+ again. We got the red curry chicken, pad Mongolian, fried rice, and house special appetizer. I'm still in awe of their beef jerky. It is so good! Who would have thought I'd be going to a restaurant for beef jerky lol. Everything was so good. Service was great as well. I will be back to try more food off of their menu.

It is so good! We got the sampler plate which had a plethora of tasty treats. Egg rolls tasty, chicken wings fried to perfection, spicy sausage that burns so good, and beef jerky that just plain blew my mind. We also got some fried rice, orange chicken, pad Thai, and tomg yong soup ( I think it was called that). Everything was good. Of course we had to finish our meal off with some mango sticky rice which was also very satisfying. Service was great and I will be back to try some more food.

Was in the area and looked up some food to eat. I was surprised to see a good rated Lao/Thai food place (no offense to anyone here, I just literally had no idea).
We got seated right away and as I was looking through the menu, I saw a Lao-style fried rice. I've had Thai fried rice, Hawaiian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, etc. so I just had to try a new kind. I'm glad I did because it was definitely unique. Some of the rice was fried crispy so the texture was interesting. My only gripe is that there was too much cilantro, but I generally don't like cilantro so for anyone else it might be just right.
The spring rolls were great! Never had such a nice looking piece of lettuce in a spring roll in my life. The shrimp tasted good and not gamey or over powering. Solid
Definitely check this place out if you're coming from the Bay Area, definitely keep coming to this restaurant if you're from the area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Lisa O.Ceres, CA0205Sep 4, 2023
Excellent pad Thai all their curries are amazing. So sad when it burnt down, however they have moved locations and are in the process of reopening. Can't wait as it is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

UPDATE: They are open now and finally have a place to go to for Lao food that is closer to home. I honestly only had the Kapiek, Boat Noodles( which is I believe their special right now), beef jerky, sausage, beef laab, and yum seafood. So far, I love majority of them but the sausage. Sausage flavor is good but wasn't expecting it to be full with spicy chili flakes that made it overwhelming. Other than that, flavors they put out is authentic.
