What is the Omaha Patio Ride?

It is a giant party bike that is powered by you and your friends! Our fun drivers will be your tour guide to a 2-hour pub crawl of the Old Market in downtown Omaha! You also get exclusive drink specials at most bars and drink your own beer while you ride!

What are the rates?

For a 2-hour private ride: Sunday-Thursday $369, Friday-Saturday $419. The price is the same for private group rides whether you have 8-16 riders. We do need full advanced payment to make a reservation (sorry, no partial deposits). Note, you can get a full refund if you need to cancel at least 7 days in advance.

What is a "Private" group ride?

Our most popular option! Private group rides are when you want to rent the party bike just for your group. You need a minimum group of 8 riders to effectively pedal the bike. Max of 16 riders.

What is a "Public" group ride?

Unfortunately we are not offering public pub crawl rides  - check back to our website to see when when/if we resume.

What if we have more than 16 riders, or want to book multiple bikes?

If your group could fill 2 bikes (18-32 riders) We recommend booking bike times right next to each other. Then the rides will overlap for the majority of time. You can coordinate with your friends on the other bike to stop at the same bars during your ride. A lot of groups have done this and it works out great!

What's the riding situation like?

Ten people can pedal, six get to ride in comfort and if you have a couple extra they could play bartender in the middle to entertain!

Do we have to drive it?

Nope - we have a sober, safe and fun driver to guide this party machine for you!

Is alcohol allowed on the bike?

Yes! You can bring your own beer or malt beverages onto the bike! Only aluminum cans or plastic malt beverages allowed - no glass or hard liquor will be allowed on the bike. Must be age 21 to ride.

Where do we stop on the route?

You will pedal from bar to bar in the Old Market area! We typically stay in the Old Market area bars. See our "Stops" tab on our website to learn more about the bars we often stop at, which are also bars you get exclusive Patio Ride drink specials at!

Do we get drink specials at the bars?

Yes! You will get an exclusive wrist band for drink specials at most bars in the Old Market as well as FREE cover. Check out "The Stops" tab for more details.

Where does it launch from?

All rides launch from the corner of 10th and Jackson Street at The Tavern.

Do you have a music system?

Yes we do! The music is one of the best parts of the ride and will keep you pumped up to keep pedaling...and drinking. Bring your phone and plug it into our stereo system via bluetooth. Boom!

What if the weather is bad?

Unless it's a thunderstorm or other serious weather, we will ride!  It's actually really fun when it's raining, groups have a blast!  Plus, there is a roof so you will stay pretty dry. If there is severe weather and we absolutely cannot ride give us a call and we will work with you to reschedule to another date free of charge.

What if I want to cancel my ride?

If you cancel more than 7 days prior, we will give you a full cash refund minus the booking fee.  If you cancel within 7 days, we will give you rain check to use later in the season. Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour will not receive any type of refund or transfer.

How old do you have to be to ride?

You must be 21+ to ride.

What payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.  You must pay in full at the time of reservation. We can split the payment on multiple cards if you wish - just email and let us know.

When can I rent it?

Check out the "BOOK NOW" button on the "Book a Ride" page to view available times and dates and ultimately to book. You can also call or text 402-519-5225 to check available dates and times.  Or email us at omahapatioride@gmail.com.  First come, first serve!

Is this thing dangerous?

With any outdoor activity on wheels, there is always some danger.  Safety records show there have been almost no accidents on "beer bikes" in the U.S. We do have you sign a release waiver prior to the ride - feel free to send along to your group and have each person sign in advance of your ride to save your group time using this link! www.smartwaiver.com/omahapatioride
