Join Historic RichmondTown in celebrating the bicentennial of the arrival of Our Nation’s Guest by dancing the night away in the historic 1837 Third County Courthouse. The gaily decorated courtroom will set the scene for social dances from the period. Period costume is always admired but not required. Let’s have a ball! Vive Lafayette!

The open air museum is alive with living history, demonstrated by costumed Historical Interpreters in structures throughout the campus. The campus zones interpret life in the 1770s, 1820s, and 1860s. Historic trades are displayed in shops, and domestic life is shown inside historic homes.
The Women’s Auxiliary of the Historic Richmond Town will hold its annual Yankee Peddler Day on Sunday, May 7, 2023 (with a rain date of Sunday, May 21). The market will feature dealers of antiques, collectibles, crafts, and new items. This event is perfect for seasoned collectors and new pickers alike. All proceeds from Yankee Peddler Day benefit Historic Richmond Town.
