  • One of six UTC student-athletes in the DI era (began (1977-78) to eclipse 1,200 points...ended career with 1,225.
  • Ranks in the top 10 all-time in field goals made (10th, 450) and attempted (3rd, 998) and 3pt made (9th, 157) and attempted (7th, 450).
  • Career FT% (75.4) is fifth among those who have shot 300 or more...ranks 12th in free throws made (252) and 15th in attempts (324).
  • 68 career double-digit scoring nights in career...led team in scoring 27 times...11 20-point games.
  • Ended up with 1,225 points, 362 rebounds, 159 assists and 60 steals starting 86 of 115 appearances.
  • Graduated with a B.B.A. in Accounting in December 2011.

2011-12
Started 30 of 32 appearances...team captain...led team in scoring 10 times with a season-high 24 points in the home win over Elon...keyed second half comeback against the Phoenix with 13 of his 24 in the final 10 minutes...had 11 of his 15 points in leading second-half comeback win over Western Carolina in the Roundhouse...graduated on Dec. 17 with a degree in accounting and then drove to Kentucky where he had 11 points, four rebounds and a career-high five assists against the eventual national champion Wildcats...scored 1,000th career point in win over Longwood...three-pointer from right corner capped an 11-0 run for the Mocs pushing the lead to 23 points, 64-41...Mocs leading scorer in 2011-12 was 17th in the SoCon at 12.2 ppg...also ranked 9th in free throw percentage (78.2%) and three-point field goal percentage (38.3%)...also led UTC In free throws made - for third straight season - with 93…Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and SoCon Honor Roll.

Played in 32 games with 31 starts (one non-start was senior night)...led squad in free throw percentage (75.2%) and free throws made (94)...second on the squad in scoring (13.0 ppg) and 3pt FG percentage (34.6%)...ranked 13th in the SoCon in scoring...averaged 14.1 points per contest in SoCon contests and 15.6 points per game at home...scored in double digits a team-best 22 times, 45 in his career...scored 20 or more three times on the year (nine career) including career-best 41 points in double overtime win over UNC Greensboro (1/27) setting the McKenzie Arena record vs. a DI opponent...made 12-18 from field, 4-7 from 3pt range and 13-15 at the line playing 44 minutes...41 points were the third most in school history and second best in a SoCon matchup...first career double-double with 16 points and career-high 11 boards in home win over Samford...solid performance on both ends of the floor in the win over College of Charleston with 16 points, five rebounds and three assists...19 points in home win over Georgia Southern (5-7 FG, 4-4 3pt and 5-5 FT)...Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall).

Started 25 of 33 appearances...scored in double figures a team-high 21 times leading the Mocs in scoring in 11 games...led the squad with six 20-point contests as well as free throws made (57)...made three or more three-pointers eight times...scored his career high of 22 points three times (Mississippi Valley State, Davidson and at App State)...grabbed career high nine rebounds in home win over The Citadel...had five or more boards eight times...21 points and career-best four assists in win over Long Island...posted his first 20-point game with 21 in the win over Longwood scoring 18 in the second half shooting six for 11 from the field, four for six from three-point range and five of six from the free throw line...Dean's List student.

2008-09
Saw action in 18 games...scored a season-best 13 points and played a season-high 18 minutes against Tennessee Temple...played double-digit minutes in six games, all non-conference...tossed in 10 points with a season high of three assists in home win over Tennessee Wesleyan...had his season-best three rebounds against Tennessee Temple and Tennessee Wesleyan...scored five points in five minutes with all five coming in the first half providing crucial minutes in the home win over Elon...one steal against Memphis, Tennessee Temple, Tennessee Wesleyan and at home against Elon.

Ricky's four-year high school record was 96-32 with the Tomcats...played for Winston Vanardo and Jason Winfrey...earned All-State, All-Region and All-District honors during his high school career...averaged 22 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a senior...MVP of the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association East-West All-Star game...graduated with a 3.63 GPA...voted Mr. HHS and Homecoming King as a senior as well as serving as First Vice-President of his class
