You are probably thinking... What does Don Draper and The Carousel have to do with my golf game? And if I were you, I'd be asking the same question.

It's simple. Unlike your past experiences with golf coaches, the experiences you will receive at GrandRapidsGolfLesson.com will be simplified. Taking you back to a place where you ache to go again. You'll "feel like a kid" as one of our recent (58 years young) clients said after seeing his first 4 iron soar high and beyond 170 yards.

You see, GrandRapidsGolfLesson.com is not about a fancy pants golf pro who will "show you how it's done" by hitting golf balls and talking about how great he is.

No, GrandRapidsGolfLesson.com is about YOU. About you creating experiences that will bring you back to a time when the air was crisp, people said hello to each other on the street and left their car doors unlocked.

And now, even though I know you just want to get better at golf, the Harvord's of the world insist I share our golf instructors credentials. So here ya go...

Scott Seifferlein, PGA Golf Guru and Michigan's Most Trusted Golf Advisor has been in the golf business for 18 years. Scott has worked in Michigan, South Carolina, New York, and Florida. Scott has previously taught golf at Mines Golf Course, Grand Rapids, MI; White Lake Golf Club, Whitehall, MI; Middle Bay Country Club, Oceanside, NY; Advantage Golf Schools USA, Florida; and Poxabogue Golf Center, Bridgehampton, NY.

While holding the top instructor position at Middle Bay Country Club, Scott was featured in Donald Trumps Book, The Best Golf Advice I Ever Received. Scott has also been featured on

Scott also writes for several on-line publications and has written several golf EBooks including Ebays best seller "You're Not Looking Up and Other Golf Myths Revealed"

Scott played four years of Division II college golf at Ferris State University. While the team finished 8th in the nation three years in a row, Scott’s highest individual finish was 34th in the national tournament. After college Scott played on the South Florida Tour in the winter, PGA club pro winter tour, and Michigan and New York PGA club pro summer tours.

Scott teaches each student differently based on their goals, physical limitations, and mindset. A major emphasis is placed on swinging the club with less effort.

A self taught golfer Scott learned the hard way and has been where many of you are now. After eight years of trial and error Scott began to receive golf instruction from some of the nation's best golf instructors. Combining eight years of learning the wrong way and 16 years learning the right way and competing at a tier one level in both situations has given Scott an advantage over other golf instructors. He knows where you are coming from and can teach you to be successful from both sides. There is nothing you do in your golf swing that Scott has not already experienced in his own game, then corrected, and went on to win tournaments at a junior level, collegiate level, and professional level.

I Was Killing My 3 Wood

"I had some awesome shots. I was killing my three wood and I was very pleased with my game over all. I shot 51/47, so for me that is good plus being my first time out after back surgery." - Linda Wierenga, Judge Sullivan's Secretary, Kent County Circuit Court

12 Stroke Improvement

“Scott is a fantastic golf instructor. He gave us excellent tips to improve our golf game, and also made learning to golf a lot of fun. He was very knowledgeable about the sport, and was able to assist each of us at our own level of skill. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone that would like to shave a stroke...or in my case 12 off your score :) Thanks Scott!” Amanda Brand, Grand Rapids

Patient & Caring Style

"Scott customizes his teaching methods to the unique needs of each and every client. My wife and I took semi-private lessons together from Scott. We are totally different golfers, but both of our games improved as a result of Scott's considerable expertise, along with his patient and caring style.” Kurt Kimball, Grand Rapids

Corrected My Slice

“Scott helped me to better understand the golf swing. I've been a slicer my whole life and he showed me why and helped me to correct it.” Kurt McNulty, Belmont
